Shpetim Idrizi: Resolution for Cham case

Idrizi: Resolution for Cham case
Activists from the Patriotic Club, part of the PJIU, donated to the MPs the special issue of the “Chameria” magazine, including a book with photos and natural and cultural monuments of Chameria.

MP Shpetim Idrizi, also PJIU leader, declared that on this day of the year, 67 years ago, 3000 men, women and children were killed in Chameria, and 2960 others died in the artificial border of Chameria with Albania, in Kllogjer. Idrizi brought to the attention of the MPs the fact that Albania needs a resolution for the Cham case.

“In order to make justice about the victims of the Chameria genocide, we need to have the Cham case at the agenda of our diplomatic and legal institutions. We believe that this is time to pass a resolution about the Cham case, and sanction its inclusion in our national agenda.

This Parliament is not like the one of 2004, where there was no national awareness and when the Chameria Association members were beaten in the Parliament doors for asking a resolution. In this Parliament, all MPs are equal. We, the Cham Albanians consider all of you as patriotic men and women”, Idrizi declared.

Shpetim Idrizi declared that the PJIU will take all necessary steps for making this resolution a reality.
