Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που τα Τίρανα και η Αθήνα έχουν κάνει βρώμικες εργασίες εις βάρος των Βόρειων Ηπειρωτών. Ακόμα και το πιο πρόσφατο γεγονός, γνωρίζαμε ότι κάποιος από τα Τίρανα του Ράμα, πρότεινε ένα σχέδιο "να βοηθήσει" την Ελλάδα, να ανακουφίσει τους πρόσφυγες του πολέμου και σε αντάλλαγμα η Ελλάδα δεν θα εμποδίσει την έναρξη διαπραγματεύσεων με την Αλβανία και την ΕΕ.

Αλλά καλύτερα να πούμε τα ίδια τα Αλβανικά ΜΜΕ, όπου το Telegraph γράφει, μεταξύ άλλων, ότι τα Τίρανα περιμένουν ένα «ΝΑΙ» από την Ελλάδα, ενώ ο Ράμα είχε μυστικές συνομιλίες για να ανακουφίσει τους Έλληνες πρόσφυγες να έρχονται στην Αλβανία ... και σε αντάλλαγμα σε αυτό το μυστικό σύμφωνο, η Αθήνα θα δώσει τα Τίρανα, το κλειδί στις διαπραγματεύσεις.

Αλλά καθώς τα στρατόπεδα προσφύγων που οικοδομήθηκαν από την Αλβανία στην ιστορική ελληνική επικράτεια αρχίζουν να γεμίζουν με παράνομες αφίξεις από την Ελλάδα, αυτό είναι ένα ζήτημα που καταγγέλλει το επόμενο σκάνδαλο που πολλοί χαρακτήρισαν ως το σχέδιο Ράμα-Ερντογάν, αλλά στην πραγματικότητα είναι η ίδια η Ελλάδα, η οποία έχει συνάψει μυστικές συμφωνίες με την Αλβανία ή το "Παζάρι της Τάξης" σε βάρος των δεινών των Βόρειων Ηπειρωτών ...

Ένα από τα πράγματα είναι σίγουρο ότι ούτε ο «νόμος περί ιδιοκτησίας» που πέρασε χωρίς τη συγκατάθεση των Βόρειων Ηπειρωτών ούτε η απογραφή τον ερχόμενο Σεπτέμβριο αντιπροσωπεύουν κάθε ευκαιρία για τους έλληνες της Αλβανίας να ισχυριστούν ότι τα Τίρανα έχουν εκπληρώσει τις προϋποθέσεις. των ελευθεριών και των ανθρωπίνων δικαιωμάτων, όπως και η ίδια η ΕΕ, ανέχεται την αλβανική κυβέρνηση να παραποιήσει και να διαδώσει ως επίτευγμα της ποιότητας της Αλβανίας να ενταχθεί στην ΕΕ.

Τι πρέπει και είναι η τελευταία ευκαιρία για τα Τίρανα να απελευθερώσουν, με ή χωρίς πίεση, μια εξουσία για τη Βόρεια Ήπειρο. Αντίθετα, η δέσμευση των διαπραγματεύσεων μέσω του VETO της Ελλάδας, εκτός εάν δεν πληρούνται οι προϋποθέσεις που απαιτούνται από την ελληνική κοινότητα στο έδαφός της για ισότητα με το Κοσσυφοπέδιο. .

Greece Goes on Coronavirus Lockdown

Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced a nationwide lockdown starting Monday 06:00 a.m.

“It must be done in time before it is too late,” Mitsotakis announced on Greek television on Sunday and added: “In the name of the common good, I proceed with this decision. I have informed the President of the Republic and the leaders of political parties of my decision,” he said.

Mitsotakis thanked the overwhelming majority of people who understood the threat posed by the virus and stayed home.

“I will not, however, allow some frivolous, flippant people undermine the security of the many. Because those few can harm thousands,” the Greek prime minister said.


Violators of the total lockdown will be fined with 150 euros, Mitsitakis said.



All citizens are ordered to stay at home. Exceptions are allowed for those needing to go to work and short trips to supermarkets, doctors, relatives in need, exercise (single or in pair) or to walk their pet.

Also, people returning to their permanent place of residence are exempt from the measure as they travel.

Reasons for leaving home need to be provided in writing. All those outside need to carry ID/passport.

The move comes as health authorities earlier announced that two more people died on Sunday bringing the total number of fatalities to 15. Confirmed cases have jumped to 624.

It is a response to many Greeks defying calls to stay at home. Instead, over the last few days, thousands left Athens and other major cities for the countryside and the islands raising fears that they could spread the virus all over the country.

Συνελήφθη στην πρωτεύουσα της Αλβανίας, ο δικηγόρος Εντρίτ Ντεμίρι, έπειτα από αστυνομική επιχείρηση του 1ου αστυνομικού τμήματος των Τιράνων.



Η σύλληψη έγινε όταν στο διαμέρισμά του και σε σπίτι στο χωριό Πελούμπα εντοπίστηκε ολόκληρο οπλοστάσιο, βαρέων όπλων και πυρομαχικών.




Σύμφωνα με το δημοσίευμα, κατασχέθηκαν τρία αυτόματα Καλάσνικοφ, ένα ημιαυτόματο όπλο με τις αντίστοιχες σφαίρες, πάνω από 200 αυτόματα πυροβόλα, τέσσερις χειροβομβίδες , φακοί και άλλα παράνομα υλικά που έκρυβε στα δύο σπίτια.


Ο εντοπισμός του έγινε έπειτα από παρακολούθηση του υπόπτου για τρομοκρατία.
Ο Ντεμίρι ήταν μέλος της ομάδας «Ιλλυριοί Αλβανία» των Τιράνων.


Τη Δευτέρα ή την Τρίτη θα οδηγηθεί ενώπιον των δικαστικών αρχών, όπου θα καθοριστούν τα μέτρα ασφάλειας που θα ληφθούν.

Magnitude 5.6 Earthquake Strikes North-Western Greece

Several old buildings collapsed from a 5.6 magnitude earthquake that hit nothwestern Greece in the early hours of Saturday.

There have been no reports of injuries from the tremor which struck at 02:49.

According to the Geodynamic Institute of Athens it’s epicenter was 14 kms east of the town of Parga, in the region of Thesprotia, at a depth of 10 kms, even in Himara.

The 4.3 magnitude earthquake that occurred 21 minutes before midnight in the area had the same epicenter.


The earthquake was felt throughout northwestern Greece in towns such as Ioannina, Corfu and Preveza.

Some older buildings in the small town of Kanalaki collapsed or were damaged.

The tremor in the area was expected, said Research Director of the Athens Institute of Geodynamics, Gerasimos Chouliaras. However, he reassured that there will be no strong tremors to follow.

In a Facebook post, the geologist wrote: “We are watching the evolution of the strong 5.6 Richter earthquake from the Geodynamic Institute’s seismological network. The earthquake in western Greece was expected, if you remember the pre-earthquake activity in Parga and Karditsa in recent months. I, personally, do not anticipate stronger activity to follow at this time, don’t worry.”

Der Standard: Grenell wants to topple Kurti to quickly implement Thaci-Vucic deal

The Journalist Adelheid Wölfl in an analysis published in the Austrian prestigious "Der Standard", wrote about the recent political situation in the country and the risk that Kosovo will be left without a Government due to the LDK's motion to overthrow Kurti and the situation created as the result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to this analysis, the US envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Richard Grenell is trying to exploit this situation.

In this analysis, among other things, it is said that Grenell is interested in a success of Donald Trump's foreign policy ahead of the November presidential election.

But this analysis says that reaching a "historic" deal as Grenell wants is impossible with Albin Kurti as prime minister.

"Kurti would never allow an exchange of territories based on ethnic criteria as part of the deal as the lobbyists want about Trump," the analysis said.

Οι ένοπλες δυνάμεις της χώρας βγήκαν στους δρόμους κάθε γειτονιάς των Τιράνων για να παρακολουθήσουν σε συνεργασία με την αστυνομία τη συμμόρφωση των πολιτών στα μέτρα που ανακοινώθηκαν για την εξάπλωση του κορωνοϊού – COVID 19.



Όπως αναφέρεται,  κάθε πολίτης στον οποίο διαπιστώνεται ότι δεν συμμορφώνονται με τα χρονοδιάγραμμα κυκλοφορίας και τους κανόνες που έχουν δημοσιοποιηθεί θα αντιμετωπίσουν διοικητικά μέτρα, δηλαδή πρόστιμα.




Οι στρατιωτικές περιπολίες θυμίζουν εικόνες εποχής πολέμου, αλλά στην πραγματικότητα αυτή τη φορά βρισκόμαστε μπροστά σε έναν αόρατο εχθρό, τον κορωνοϊό.

Είναι ελάχιστο να πιστεύουμε ότι ένας αλβανός ηγέτης, που προέρχεται από μια αμφιλεγόμενη ελληνική χριστιανική οικογένεια από τη Χιμάρα, θα πρέπει να διπλασιάσει τη γεωπολιτική, που έχει ήδη δηλωθεί, "είτε με τη Μέρκελ, το Σορος είτε με τους Αμερικανούς Trump.

Kosovo’s Crisis-Hit Govt Threatened with No-Confidence Vote

As Kosovo’s government tries to deal with the coronavirus crisis, one of the ruling coalition partners has threatened a vote of no confidence amid a row over whether a state of emergency should be imposed.

The leader of the junior partner in Kosovo’s coalition government, the Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK, said on Wednesday evening that he will file a motion for a no-confidence vote after one of the party’s ministers was sacked from the cabinet.

The threat came after Prime Minister Albin Kurti, from the main ruling Vetevendosje party, sacked Interior Minister Agim Veliu, an LDK politician, on Wednesday amid a disagreement over how to tackle the coronavirus crisis.

Kurti said that Veliu was dismissed because he had undermined the government by publicly supporting the idea of declaring a state of emergency, and because he had spread panic about the coronavirus epidemic.

The idea of imposing a state of emergency was proposed by Kurti’s political rival, President Hashim Thaci. If a state of emergency is declared, the government’s power shifts to Kosovo’s Security Council, which is chaired by Thaci.

Announcing that he would initiate a no-confidence vote, the LDK’s leader, Isa Mustafa, said that he cannot allow Kurti to “mock one of my ministers every day and then dismiss” them.

He accused Kurti of breaching the coalition agreement, which he said included assurances that no minister could be dismissed without prior consultation and the approval of LDK’s leadership.

He said however that the LDK will remain in government “until we get through this situation with the coronavirus”.

The no-confidence motion needs 40 signatures from MPs to be sent the Kosovo Assembly for a vote and 61 votes, in a 120-seat parlimant to pass. The LDK only has 28 lawmakers in the legislature.

Two prominent LDK politicians have indicated that they do not support the motion. Parliamentary speaker Vjosa Osmani told BIRN that she did not vote for the initiative at an LDK chairmanship meeting on Wednesday, while the Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment, Lumir Abdixhiku, said that he abstained.

Kurti on Wednesday defended his decision to sack Veliu, saying that it was absurd for the interior minister to call for a state of emergency while Kosovo’s police force, which is under his ministry’s control, is currently handling the situation very well.

He also said that Veliu could not claim that President Thaci was right to call for a state of emergency when there are only “20 people affected [by coronavirus infection], with no deaths”.

The LDK was already in dispute with its coalition partners from Vetevendosje over whether to immediately lift Kosovo’s 100 per cent import tariffs on Serbian goods.

The US has called for the tariffs to be removed immediately. The LDK agrees but Vetevendosje wants a more gradual lifting.

Kosovo’s coalition government has only been in office since early February. The country went for four months without an administration before that, after elections were held last October.

We are recording and evaluating the escalation in the tension between Turkey and Greece very carefully for the past few months. We predicted the exact date (-+2 days) of the open beginning of the hybrid hostilities already from January 10th 2020, and had indicated the coming events in our EastMed Energy Security Conference on November 1rst 2019. Since then, we have been projecting models of the ensuing escalation. Based on the heavy propaganda in Turkey by the Erdogan administration which is calling for the “solution” of Turkish-Greek affairs, the statements by Turkish politicians and the open acts of aggression by Turkish military forces which are exponentially rising in severity, we predict that within the next few weeks, but before the celebration of Greek Easter, a new round of aggression will ensue, probably in the Southern region of the Aegean, between the islands of Crete and Castellorizo, which is essentially the main strategic Turkish target for the success of its “Blue Country” scheme. The long term strategic Turkish plans include the shelving of the EastMed Project, the cancellation of all forms of military cooperation between the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean, especially between Cyprus, Israel and Greece. We note that our prediction involves a three-way escalation, one as a diversion in the Evros region, and a second diversion in the Central Aegean with the main target in the Southern Aegean.
Greece is under great pressure from Germany, Russia and China to accept a “compromise” with Turkey, as all the aforementioned countries fear that any improvement in the US-Greek and Greek-Israeli relations is detrimental for their interests. Germany acts as point-country for the constant pressuring of Greece to accept the heavy terms of virtual surrender by wielding the weapon of Greece's heavy debt to member states of the EU. The arrival of the Covid-19 in Greece is also being “weaponized” against the Greek Government as EU funding will probably come at the cost of Greece resigning from its claims on the Continental Shelf and Exclusive Maritime Zone, nevertheless it will be a very tough sell to the Greeks, as the vast majority (app.90%) are against any compromise as per the latest polls.
Greek reaction to the last two serious incidents, namely the invasion of Greek airspace over the Evros region by two F-16 planes piloted by Pakistani pilots and the deliberate ramming of a Greek Coast Guard vessel by a Turkish Coast Guard ultra modern patrol boat was more in line to the EU suggestions for the de-escalation of the situation.
Although we predict the immediate escalation of the conflict which already for the 14th day is short of open warfare, we are not certain on the reaction of the Greek Government and the PM in particular to a new escalation. Our best models predict that if the escalation is light, the Greek PM may well match the level of the escalation, but at any point shy of the use of lethal force. If Turkey decides to take it up a notch we predict that the Greek PM will avoid escalation and agree to the terms which will be dictated by the German government which will act as a “mediator”. It is a very difficult situation though for the Greek PM, who is between the hammer and the anvil, the hammer being the pressure by the EU leadership, and the anvil being his party apparatus, who in case of capitulation are expected to resign en masse, possibly causing premature elections in which the ruling party would be devasted, in contrary to its current position which is by far the first in the polls, as it has gained at least 6% in popularity for its tough handling of the Evros hybrid invasion.

Roan Paul Institute: Θα επιβληθεί στρατιωτικός νόμος σε ΗΠΑ και διεθνώς λόγω κορωνοιού

Δεν θα χρειαστούν πολλά για την κήρυξη του στρατιωτικού νόμου, την καθιέρωση εθνικού αποκλεισμού με τον αμερικανικό λαό να είναι τρομοκρατημένος άρα και χειραγωγημένος.
Σε μια ομολογουμένως ανατριχιαστική εκτίμηση προβαίνει το αμερικανικό Roan Paul Institute τονίζοντας ότι προσεχώς θα επιβληθεί στρατιωτικός νόμος σε πολλές χώρες λόγω του κορωνοιού.
Όχι δεν θα είναι μια δοκιμασία της δέσμευσής μας για βασική υγιεινή ή ετοιμότητα για καταστροφές ή για την ικανότητά μας ως έθνος να αντιμετωπίσουμε μια περίοδο κρίσης.
Στο όνομα της εθνικής ασφάλειας στις ΗΠΑ αλλά και σε άλλες χώρες και με πρόσχημα τον κορωνοιό θα ενεργοποιηθεί στρατιωτικός νόμος όπου η αστυνομία με μοντέλο δικτατορίας θα επιβάλλει τους νέους κανόνες στις κοινωνίες.
Δεν θα είναι ένα test για να διαπιστώσουμε εάν το Σύνταγμα θα μείνει αναλλοίωτο από μια εθνική κρίση και από μια πραγματική κατάσταση έκτακτης ανάγκης.
Όποια και αν είναι η απειλή για το έθνος - είτε πρόκειται για κοινωνική εξέγερση, πυροβολισμούς στα σχολεία, εικαζόμενες πράξεις τρομοκρατίας ή για απειλή μιας παγκόσμιας πανδημίας στην περίπτωση του COVID-19 - η κυβέρνηση έχει την τάση να επιβάλλεται μέσω του αστυνομικού κράτους.
Αυτή η επιδημία του κορωνοϊού, η οποία προκάλεσε καταστοφή στην Κίνα και χάος στην Ιταλία με την καραντίνα απειλεί να φέρει στο προσκήνιο το αστυνομικό κράτος.
Εάν απαιτηθεί να ληφθούν σκληρά μέτρα π.χ. στις ΗΠΑ θα μπορούσε να επιβληθεί ένας ιδιότυπος στρατιωτικός νόμος με την εποπτεία της αστυνομίας που θα περιπολεί τους δρόμους καθορίζοντας σημεία ελέγχου ασφαλείας.
Επίσης τα μέσα ενημέρωσης θα πάψουν να έχουν πρόσβαση σε όλες τις πληροφορίες.
Θα πρόκειται για ένα σκηνικό ταινίας θρίλερ με την διαφορά ότι θα συμβαίνει στην πραγματικότητα. 
Η αμερικανική κυβέρνηση σε μια πανδημία του κορωνοιού θα δημιουργήσει ειδικά στρατόπεδα FEMA ώστε να χρησιμοποιηθούν ως κέντρα κράτησης σε καραντίνα για τους πολίτες που έχουν νοσήσει.
Οι στρατιωτικές και αστυνομικές δυνάμεις θα μπορούν να συλλαμβάνουν τους ασθενείς στο πλαίσιο των ενεργοποιημένων σχεδίων για την απομόνωση οποιουδήποτε ύποπτου εάν έχει προσβληθεί από το COVID-19.
Ο στρατιωτικός νόμος ιστορικά καταδικάζεται από τις κοινωνίες, ωστόσο στην περίπτωση του Covid 19 η κυβέρνηση θα επικαλεστεί λόγους εθνικής ασφαλείας.
Έτσι θα ξεκινήσει το αστυνομικό κράτος στις ΗΠΑ.

The Pentagon has ordered a halt to the deployment of forces for Defender-Europe 20, which would have been the military’s largest exercise on the Continent in a generation, because of concerns about the coronavirus, U.S. European Command said Monday.

Parts of the exercise have been completely eliminated including Dynamic Front, Joint Warfighting Assessment, Saber Strike and Swift Response, which involved paratroops dropping into the Republic of Georgia and the Baltics, officials said.

“As of March 13, all movement of personnel and equipment from the United States to Europe has ceased. The health, safety and readiness of our military, civilians, and family members is our primary concern,” EUCOM said.

Forces already deployed to Europe for exercises will return to the United States, EUCOM said.

Schedules for future troops rotations in support of Atlantic Resolve – the Pentagon’s effort to deter Russian aggression in Europe – are also likely to be adjusted, officials said.

Defender would have been the culmination of several years of military build-up on the Continent and was intended to showcase the military’s ability to mobilize large numbers of forces quickly.

In addition to testing combat skills, Defender also was an exercise in large-scale logistics. The $340 million exercise started in January when units loaded up combat equipment and shipped it across the Atlantic Ocean.

Around 20,000 U.S.-based troops were to take part in Defender, joining thousands of other American and allied forces already based in places like Poland, Germany and the Baltic States. The exercise was to run through June.

Now, the military will need to figure out a schedule for returning troops and equipment that had already arrived in Europe,

The exercise was designed to be a 21st-century version of the Cold War-era “REFORGER” drills that were held regularly to demonstrate to the Soviet Union the mobility of American forces.

Since January, the Army has deployed about 6,000 soldiers from the U.S. to Europe, including a division headquarters and an armored brigade combat team.  It also moved 9,000 vehicles and pieces of equipment from Army prepositioned stocks and 3,000 pieces of equipment via sea from the United States to the Continent, EUCOM said.

EUCOM said it hoped an armored brigade combat team already deployed to Europe will still be able to conduct gunnery and other combined training events as part of a smaller exercise, dubbed Allied Spirit.

The announcement that the scope of Defender was being reduced because of the coronavirus follows a string of exercise cancellations for the same reason. Last week, a large cold weather exercise underway in Norway was canceled and, earlier this month, a major EUCOM air defense drill in Israel was called off, both because of the coronavirus.

Defender’s downsizing comes days after the World Health Organization said Europe was the epicenter of the global coronavirus pandemic amid a spike in the number of people testing positive for the virus. Several countries, including Germany and Poland, which would have been the main hubs for the Defender exercises, have shut their borders to try to stem the spread of the virus.

Nine people with connections to the U.S. military in Europe, including three service members, have tested positive for coronavirus so far. In Stuttgart, which is home to an American military community of around 28,000, 100 people are in isolation awaiting test results, military officials said.

Military schools and scores of on-base services across installations in Europe have shut down to try to stop the virus from spreading further.

Twelve people have died in Germany and 4,838 have contracted the virus as of Sunday, the Robert Koch Institute said on its website. In Italy, where the health ministry said 1,809 people have died after contracting the virus, U.S. bases have joined the rest of the country and locked down. Italy has had 24,747 cases of coronavirus disease since the first cases of the infection were reported at the end of January in a pair of Chinese tourists.

Olympic weightlifting champion Pyrros Dimas is stranded in Athens and won’t be able to return home to Chicago for at least a month, after Trump announced travel restrictions amid coronavirus threat.

On Tuesday Dimas, the technical director for USA Weightlifting, flew to Europe for meetings of the sport’s international federation.

Under the US  travel restrictions for more than two dozen European countries announced by President Donald Trump on Wednesday, the Greek sports hero’s visa makes him ineligible to return.

Dimas’ visa — granted to individuals possessing “extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics” — was not among the exceptions announced as part of the restrictions meant to slow the spread of COVID-19.

The Olympic weightlifting champion made the announcement on Thursday evening, when he said he would not be able to return back home to his family in Chicago until mid-April. Until then, he will remain in Athens, Greece.

With four Olympic medals – three gold and one bronze – Dimas is tied for Greece’s most decorated Olympian and is regarded as the best weightlifter of all-time. Link

LDK with 'ultimatum' to Albin Kurti: Tax should be abolished TODAY, IMMEDIATELY

LDK Deputy Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has demanded that the tax on Serbian goods be lifted immediately. According to him, this should happen today.

“The tax should be abolished TODAY, IMMEDIATELY, COMPLETELY.

There is no place for political tactics with our partnership with the US ”, Hoti wrote.

Hoti's statement comes just minutes after Prime Minister Albin Kurti said he regretted not being able to abolish the tax on Serbian goods because of disagreement with the LDK.

“Today, on March 15, 2020, we had to abolish the 100% tariff on raw materials imported from Serbia. This will not happen because my position on February 26, 2020, meanwhile, was not made a decision. I am sorry for this. I still have not managed to convince our ruling coalition partner, LDK, of what I am convinced: gradually replacing the tariff with reciprocity is the best, fairest and most useful way, ”Kurti wrote today.

Ο Ράμα ανακοίνωσε επείγουσα απόφαση, η οποία αναφέρει ότι η Αλβανία κλείνει τα σύνορα με την Ελλάδα.



Σύμφωνα με το σημείωμά του στο Facebook, κλείνουν από τις 10:00 αύριο τα χερσαία, θαλάσσια και εναέρια σύνορα με την Ελλάδα, όπως και με την Ιταλία.


Σημειώνει ότι οι μεταφορές εμπορευμάτων θα διεξάγονται κανονικά τονίζοντας ότι δεν υπάρχει καθόλου φόβος, αλλά πρόληψη.

If Washington's threats of denying economic aid and withdrawing US troops from Kosovo and Metohija do not discipline the prime minister of interim Pristina institutions, Albin Kurti, and in case he does not suspend tariffs, it is not excluded that the United States will pull another trump card - a change of government in Pristina.

In an otherwise loose Kurti's ruling majority, his most important partner, Isa Mustafa's Democratic League of Kosovo (PDK) has been threatening to deny him support for days if he does not conditionally withdraw tariffs on all goods from central Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

In a political calculation that could be pushed by the US, a new majority would be made by Mustafa's PDK (28 MPs), Kadri Veseli's Democratic Party of Kosovo, that is to say, Hashim Thaci (24 MPs), Fatmir Limaj's Social Democratic Initiative (4 MPs) and Bedghjet Pacolli's Alliance for the New Kosovo (2 MPs). The required majority of the 61, out of the 120 MPs the Pristina parliament is composed of, in this case would be secured from the parliamentary "reservoir" of minority communities, excluding the Serb List.

The "war" between Albanian leaders in Pristina over fees and relations with the United States has particularly culminated with the return of Hashim Thaci, the President of the interim institutions in Kosovo, from the United States. He sharply criticizes Kurti for his stubborn policy of seriously risking that their main patron turns back on their independence of the false state, that is, as Thaci says, he's committment to "destroying historic alliances".

To Thaci's message that "the United States has finally taken over the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia," officials from Brussles reiterate somewhat angrily that "the EU remains the only mediator in charge of organizing Belgrade-Pristina negotiations." However, for the time being, Brussels does not offer a concrete solution to the deadlock in which dialogue has fallen due to Pristina's unilateral moves, that is, the introduction of tariffs.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic reiterated Thursday that "abolishing fees is a key precondition for the resumption of dialogue":

"Also, Pristina's decisions to form a so-called Defense Ministry and transform 'Kosovo security forces' into an armed formation are unacceptable to us, as they not only harm the dialogue process, but can also affect the destabilization of the region."

Borrell seeks urgent abolition of tariffs
Head of European Diplomacy, Josep Borrell, told Kurti that the continuation of the dialogue was necessary and urgent and required a complete abolition of fees. In a letter to Kurti, Borrell says he expects Belgrade to contribute to the rebuilding of the process as well. He recalled that he had earlier supported Kurti's intention to gradually abolish fees as a good first step, but now points out:

"We need full abolition of fees."

Award-winning American actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) amid the ongoing global outbreak of the disease. Hanks posted a statement on his Instagram account.

Hanks and Wilson were in Australia for the pre-production of Baz Luhrmann’s currently untitled Elvis Presley film from Warner Bros. Hanks is set to play Presley’s longtime manager Colonel Tom Parker.

In his Instagram post Hanks wrote.

“Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive”, Hanks said.

“Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no? We’ll keep the world posted and updated. Take care of yourselves! Hanx!”, Hanks said.

Κοροναϊός: Στην Αλβανία έκλεισαν εκατοντάδες χώροι συνάθροισης ανθρώπων

Εκατοντάδες χώροι στους οποίους συγκεντρώνονται οι πολίτες, αποφάσισε η κυβέρνηση του Έντι Ράμα να απαγορεύσει προσωρινά τη λειτουργία τους, ως μέτρο πρόληψης της εξάπλωσης του κοροναϊού στη χώρα.



Με σημερινή της ανακοίνωση, η αλβανική αστυνομία  αναφέρει ότι κατόπιν εντολής του Γενικού Διευθυντή της Κρατικής Αστυνομίας, Αρντί Βελίου, 522 χώροι έχουν κληθεί να αναστείλουν τη λειτουργία τους. Σε αυτούς συμπεριλαμβάνονται μπαρ, γυμναστήρια, αίθουσες μπιλιάρδου, ντισκοτέκ και παμπ καθώς και αίθουσες ζωντανής μουσικής.


Η κρατική αστυνομία καλεί τους ιδιοκτήτες να κατανοήσουν τον κίνδυνο και να συμμορφωθούν με τις εντολές της κυβέρνησης, ειδάλλως θα αντιμετωπίσουν νομικές κυρώσεις.


«Οι κρατικές αστυνομικές δομές, θα συνεργασθούν με την κρατική επιθεώρηση υγείας, το ινστιτούτο δημόσιας υγείας, τις μονάδες τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης, τους επικεφαλής των περιφερειών και άλλα κρατικά όργανα που επιβάλλονται από το νόμο», όπως αναφέρει η επίσημη ανακοίνωση.

Turkish Speedboat Rams Greek Coast Guard Vessel in Dangerous Escalation

A Greek Coast Guard vessel was rammed by a Turkish speed boat on Tuesday evening off the eastern Aegean island of Kos in a new dangerous provocation by Ankara.

According to a video uploaded on Twitter, the Turkish vessel is seen approaching the Greek at speed. A Greek officer shouts to the rest of the crew that they have been hit at the stern.

He is heard shouting: “They broke our rails. We are in our [waters] and they hit us. They damaged our stern.” The video was uploaded by journalist Liana Spyropoulou.

Το έχουμε ξαναγράψει στο παρελθόν.

Οι Αλβανοί φέρθηκαν μπαμπέσικα στην Ελλάδα το 2009 και αυτό έπρεπε να μας γίνει μάθημα, ειδικά σ’ εκείνους στο υπουργείο Εξωτερικών που χαράσσουν και εφαρμόζουν την ελληνική εξωτερική πολιτική.

Τότε η Αλβανία δέχτηκε να υπογράψει τη συμφωνία οριοθέτησης των θαλασσίων ζωνών με την Ελλάδα, κι εμείς από την πλευρά μας την βοηθήσαμε να γίνει μέλος του ΝΑΤΟ.

Δεν είχαμε φροντίσει όμως να κυρωθεί η συμφωνία από τα δύο κοινοβούλια και να βγει γνωμοδότηση από το Συνταγματικό Δικαστήριο της Αλβανίας, για την εγκυρότητα της συμφωνίας.

Αυτό έδωσε τη δυνατότητα στην Αλβανία να φερθεί μπαμπέσικα στην Ελλάδα.

Γιατί έγινε μέλος του ΝΑΤΟ, μετά από παρέμβαση της Τουρκίας στον τότε αρχηγό της αξιωματικής αντιπολίτευσης Έντι Ράμα, η συμφωνία παραπέμφθηκε στο Συνταγματικό Δικαστήριο της Αλβανίας, το οποίο την ακύρωσε.



Έτσι η Αλβανία βρέθηκε στα σαλόνια του ΝΑΤΟ, σύμμαχος με την Τουρκία, και η Ελλάδα με μια άκυρη συμφωνία στο χέρι.



Τώρα έχουμε τη διαδικασία εισόδου της Αλβανίας στην Ε.Ε.

Αντί η ελληνική κυβέρνηση και το υπουργείο Εξωτερικών να ξεκαθαρίσουν προς όλες τις κατευθύνσεις ότι δεν πρόκειται να μπει η Αλβανία στον αιώνα τον άπαντα στην Ε.Ε., αν δεν ρυθμιστούν δύο θέματα, αυτό της πλήρους διασφάλισης των δικαιωμάτων των Ελλήνων της Βορείου Ηπείρου και της υπογραφής και επικύρωσης τελεσίδικα συμφωνίας οριοθέτησης των θαλασσίων ζωνών, αφήνουμε την Αλβανία να παίρνει αποφάσεις και να ψηφίζει νόμους, που οδηγούν την ελληνική μειονότητα στον αφανισμό!



Η απόφαση για δημιουργία τριών μουσουλμανικών πόλεων με “πρόσφυγες” σε Κορυτσά, Αργυρόκαστρο και Αγίους Σαράντα, αλλά και ο νόμος που που ψηφίστηκε πρόσφατα για το περιουσιακό, είναι δείγματα αυτής της θρασείας πολιτικής που ασκεί η Αλβανία, ακριβώς επειδή γνωρίζει ότι αυτό δεν θα έχει κόστος.

Και για να το γνωρίζει, θα έπρεπε να το έχει δηλώσει επίσημα και σε όλους τους τόνους από πριν η Ελλάδα και κυρίως το ελληνικό υπουργείο Εξωτερικών, το οποίο, κατόπιν εορτής, εξέδωσε την παρακάτω ανακοίνωση:



Ανακοίνωση του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών σχετικά με την υιοθέτηση νόμου από το αλβανικό Κοινοβούλιο για το περιουσιακό

Η υιοθέτηση από το αλβανικό Κοινοβούλιο του νόμου για το περιουσιακό ζήτημα αποτελεί μία χαμένη ευκαιρία για την οριστική και δίκαιη επίλυση ενός προβλήματος, που ταλαιπωρεί τους Αλβανούς πολίτες, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των μελών της Ελληνικής Εθνικής Μειονότητας.

Οι αλβανικές Αρχές επέλεξαν να δώσουν μια “λύση” χωρίς να λάβουν υπ´ όψιν τους βασικές αξίες και δικαιώματα. Εφήρμοσαν αποσπασματικά τη Γνωμοδότηση της Επιτροπής της Βενετίας της 14ης Οκτωβρίου 2019, η οποία ανέφερε ότι «οι διατάξεις του σχεδίου νόμου είναι ασαφείς και ασύμβατες με την Ευρωπαϊκή Σύμβαση Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων, τυχόν δε εφαρμογή τους θα προκαλέσει παραβίαση του δικαιώματος στην ιδιοκτησία».

Μολονότι την ύστατη στιγμή έγιναν ορισμένες βελτιώσεις, τα βασικά προβλήματα παραμένουν και στο νόμο που ψηφίσθηκε.

Αναμένουμε από τις αλβανικές Αρχές να προστατεύσουν αποτελεσματικά το δικαίωμα στην ιδιοκτησία και στην περιουσία, θέμα που ανήκει στο σκληρό πυρήνα του Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαίου.

Η κατοχύρωσή του θα αποτελέσει τη λυδία λίθο, εν όψει της λήψεως αποφάσεων για την κατάρτιση του διαπραγματευτικού πλαισίου (negotiating framework) και τη σύγκληση της πρώτης διακυβερνητικής συνόδου (1st Intergovernmental Conference) για το άνοιγμα ενταξιακών διαπραγματεύσεων της Αλβανίας. Link

Αυστηρό μήνυμα ΗΠΑ στο Κοσσυφοπέδιο

Σε συνάντηση που είχε ο Σκεντέρ Χουσένι, το μέλος της προεδρίας του κόμματος του Κοσσυφοπεδίου LDK, με τον Ειδικό Απεσταλμένο του προέδρου Τραμπ, Ρίτσαρντ Γκρένελ, έγινε δέκτης αυστηρού μηνύματος, όπως γράφει αλβανικό δημοσίευμα.

Ο Γκρένελ δήλωσε ότι οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες δεν μπορούν να συνεχίσουν να δαπανούν εκατοντάδες εκατομμύρια δολάρια για στρατιωτικές και άλλες ενισχύσεις και σχέδια σε μια χώρα στην οποία η κυβέρνηση εργάζεται ενάντια στα συμφέροντα των πολιτών της.

Ο πρέσβης Γκρένελ έστειλε αυτό το μήνυμα στον Σκεντέρ Χουσένι, όπως αναφέρει σε ανάρτησή του στο FB.

«Ωστόσο, οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες δεν μπορούν να προστατεύουν το Κοσσυφοπέδιο από τον εαυτό τους, δηλαδή από την ανεύθυνη συμπεριφορά της κυβέρνησης και των επικεφαλής της», ήταν το μήνυμα του Γκρένελ.

Επιπλέον, ο Ντόναλντ Τραμπ Τζιούνορ, γιος του Αμερικανού προέδρου Ντόναλντ Τραμπ, δήλωσε σήμερα (χθες) ότι οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες  πρέπει να εγκαταλείψουν το Κοσσυφοπέδιο.

«Συμφωνώ, υπάρχουν 650 Αμερικανοί στρατιώτες στο Κοσσυφοπέδιο. Ήρθε η ώρα να γυρίσουν στην πατρίδα», έγραψε ο γιος του προέδρου Τραμπ.

Το σχόλιό του ήταν προς τον γερουσιαστή Ντέιβιντ Πέρντιου (David Perdue) ο οποίος έγραψε ότι οι ΗΠΑ πρέπει να επανεξετάσουν την στρατιωτική τους παρουσία στο Κόσοβο.

The President of the Republic, Hashim Thaçi urged the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to meet and make decisions in accordance with the official requirements of the United States of America.

"You have greatly undermined our special relationship with the US, without which we would have neither freedom, nor the state, nor the future. This approach is also questioning the future of our state.

All of us, heads of institutions, political leaders or governments, are replaceable. But only relations with the US are vital and irreplaceable for the Republic of Kosovo. Confrontation with the US is very harmful and an unforgivable mistake in the modern history of Kosovo, "Thaci's response reads.

President mentioned in an interview with TV Kopernikus, though in another context, that he had long and serious discussions with representatives of the EU, Germany and France on Monday, without disclosing the topic of the conversation.

"We maintained stability and peace, and everyone worldwide knew that we would guard it at all costs. It is important for us to be steadfast, and they know what the strength of Serbia is, so they will not attack Serbia," he said commenting on the constant threats towards Serbia, coming from the region.

We need to understand that justice does not exist, we were part of the process we were defeated in, and we paid a high price for that, Vucic said, commenting on double standards of the West implemented to our country.

Ράμα και Ερντογάν συμφώνησαν να δημιουργήσουν τρεις μουσουλμανικές πόλεις προσφύγων των δέκα χιλιάδων κατοίκων η κάθε μια, κατά μήκος των ελληνοαλβανικών συνόρων.

Οι πόλεις αυτές θα διασπάσουν την ενότητα του ελληνισμού της Βορείου Ηπείρου, κάτι που θα γίνει για πρώτη φορά στη διάρκεια της Ιστορίας.

Είναι προφανές ότι το ελληνικό υπουργείο Εξωτερικών και ειδικά ο κ. Δένδιας, που κατάγεται από τη Χιμάρα, θα πράξει τα δέοντα για να αποτραπεί αυτό το έγκλημα εις βάρος του Ελληνισμού.

Τούτο διότι ενώ η Αλβανία θα έπρεπε να είναι αλληλέγγυα με την Ελλάδα ώστε να εμπεδωθεί ότι τα σύνορα της Ευρώπης είναι εκεί που δίνεται η μάχη συγκράτησης των προσφύγων- μεταναστών, ο Ράμα σπάει το μέτωπο μετατοπίζοντας τη γραμμή στα μετώπισθεν”.

Φαίνεται πως ο Ερντογάν βρήκε νέο τρόπο άσκησης πιέσεως προς την Ελλάδα και ΕΕ, μέσω της απομίμησής του που ονομάζεται Ράμα. Link

Κοσσυφοπέδιο: Οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες αναστέλλουν επενδύσεις 200 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ

Οι απειλές των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών προς την κυβέρνηση του Κοσσυφοπεδίου ότι εάν δεν καταργήσει την υπέρμετρη φορολόγηση των σερβικών προϊόντων θα σταματήσει η αμερικανική βοήθεια, φαίνεται ότι γίνονται πράξη.



Σύμφωνα με την 'Λοκάλνο' των Σκοπίων, την οποία επικαλείται το βουλγαρικό ‘Fokus’ οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες θα αναστείλουν επενδύσεις ύψους 200 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ, «γιατί αρνήθηκε να καταργήσει τα  τέλη στα προϊόντα από τη Σερβία και τη Βοσνία/Ερζεγοβίνη, όπως έγραψε η εφημερίδα της Πρίστινα στην ηλεκτρονική της έκδοση  Gazeta Express.




Η εφημερίδα αναφέρει ότι ο προϊστάμενος της εταιρείας «Miilenium Challenge Corporation», Σεν Κάιρνκρος (Sean Cairncross) ενημέρωσε τον πρωθυπουργό του Κοσόβου, Αλμπίν Κούρτι για την απόφαση της Ουάσιγκτον.


«Το Κοσσυφοπέδιο δεν μπορεί πλέον να στηριχθεί στα 50 εκατομμύρια ευρώ από την εταιρία, καθώς και τα υπόλοιπα 150 εκατομμύρια ευρώ στο έργο του φυσικού αερίου που σχεδιάστηκε να επενδυθεί στο Κοσσυφοπέδιο», σημειώνει η Express.


Η αναστολή της χρηματοδότησης των ΗΠΑ προκλήθηκε μετά την άρνηση της κυβέρνησης του Κοσσυφοπεδίου να άρει τα τέλη στα σερβικά προϊόντα, όπως σημειώνεται.

Ανακοίνωση εξέδωσε το Ελληνικό Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών σχετικά με το νόμο για το περιουσιακό που ψήφισε η αλβανική κυβέρνηση και αφορά άμεσα την Εθνική Ελληνική Μειονότητα.
Η ανακοίνωση του ελληνικού ΥΠΕΞ έρχεται λίγες εβδομάδες μετά τη συζήτηση του νομοσχεδίου, καθώς επίσης και λίγες ημέρες μετά την ψήφισή του στο αλβανικό κοινοβούλιο. Οπότε θα μπορούσε να χαρακτηριστεί και ως μια κατόπιν εορτής αντίδραση.
Στην ανακοίνωση χαρακτηρίζεται ως νόμος με "ορισμένες βελτιώσεις", αλλά και με "βασικά προβλήματα"

"Ανακοίνωση του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών σχετικά με την υιοθέτηση νόμου από το αλβανικό Κοινοβούλιο για το περιουσιακό

Η υιοθέτηση από το αλβανικό Κοινοβούλιο του νόμου για το περιουσιακό ζήτημα αποτελεί μία χαμένη ευκαιρία για την οριστική και δίκαιη επίλυση ενός προβλήματος, που ταλαιπωρεί τους Αλβανούς πολίτες, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των μελών της Ελληνικής Εθνικής Μειονότητας.

Οι αλβανικές Αρχές επέλεξαν να δώσουν μια “λύση” χωρίς να λάβουν υπ´ όψιν τους βασικές αξίες και δικαιώματα. Εφήρμοσαν αποσπασματικά τη Γνωμοδότηση της Επιτροπής της Βενετίας της 14ης Οκτωβρίου 2019, η οποία ανέφερε ότι «οι διατάξεις του σχεδίου νόμου είναι ασαφείς και ασύμβατες με την Ευρωπαϊκή Σύμβαση Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων, τυχόν δε εφαρμογή τους θα προκαλέσει παραβίαση του δικαιώματος στην ιδιοκτησία».

Μολονότι την ύστατη στιγμή έγιναν ορισμένες βελτιώσεις, τα βασικά προβλήματα παραμένουν και στο νόμο που ψηφίσθηκε.

Αναμένουμε από τις αλβανικές Αρχές να προστατεύσουν αποτελεσματικά το δικαίωμα στην ιδιοκτησία και στην περιουσία, θέμα που ανήκει στο σκληρό πυρήνα του Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαίου.

Η κατοχύρωσή του θα αποτελέσει τη λυδία λίθο, εν όψει της λήψεως αποφάσεων για την κατάρτιση του διαπραγματευτικού πλαισίου (negotiating framework) και τη σύγκληση της πρώτης διακυβερνητικής συνόδου (1st Intergovernmental Conference) για το άνοιγμα ενταξιακών διαπραγματεύσεων της Αλβανίας." Link

Συλλήψεις δύο ατόμων για διωκτικά έγγραφα στην Κακαβιά

Συνελήφθησαν, χθες (08-03-2020) το μεσημέρι, σε δύο διαφορετικές περιπτώσεις, στην Κακαβιά Ιωαννίνων και στα Ιωάννινα,  δύο άτομα για καταδικαστικές αποφάσεις.

Ειδικότερα:

Στην πρώτη περίπτωση, συνελήφθη στην Κακαβιά Ιωαννίνων, από αστυνομικούς της Υποδιεύθυνσης Ασφάλειας Ιωαννίνων σε συνεργασία με αστυνομικούς του Τμήματος Διαβατηριακού Ελέγχου Κακαβιάς, ένας αλλοδαπός, διότι σε βάρος του εκκρεμούσε απόφαση του Δευτεροβάθμιου Τριμελούς Εφετείου Κακουργημάτων Λάρισας, ποινής φυλάκισης 4 ετών και 2 μηνών, για τα αδικήματα της ληστείας και κατοχής – οπλοφορίας –χρήσης όπλων.
Στη δεύτερη περίπτωση, συνελήφθη στα Ιωάννινα, από αστυνομικούς της Υποδιεύθυνσης Ασφάλειας Ιωαννίνων, ένας ημεδαπός, διότι σε βάρος του εκκρεμούσαν οι παρακάτω καταδικαστικές αποφάσεις:
απόφαση του Α΄ Αυτόφωρου Μονομελούς Πλημμελειοδικείου Αθηνών, ποινής φυλάκισης 9 ετών και 3 μηνών καθώς και χρηματικής ποινής 32.100 ευρώ, για εισφορές,
απόφαση του Α΄ Τριμελούς Πλημμελειοδικείου Αθηνών και του Β΄ Τριμελούς Εφετείου Πλημμελημάτων Αθηνών, ποινής φυλάκισης 1 έτους και 5 μηνών, για ψευδή ανώμοτη κατάθεση και ψευδή καταμήνυση,
απόφαση του Ι΄ Τριμελούς Εφετείου Πλημμελημάτων Αθηνών, ποινής φυλάκισης 8 μηνών, για δημόσια έσοδα.
Οι συλληφθέντες οδηγήθηκαν ενώπιον του κ. Εισαγγελέα Πρωτοδικών Ιωαννίνων.



Μετέφερε με Ι.Χ.Ε. αυτοκίνητο μία μη νόμιμη αλλοδαπή

Συνελήφθη, χθες (08-03-2020) το μεσημέρι στο Δελβινάκι Ιωαννίνων, από αστυνομικούς του Α΄ Τμήματος Συνοριακής Φύλαξης Δελβινακίου σε συνεργασία diavaμε αστυνομικούς της FRONTEX, ένας αλλοδαπός, κατηγορούμενος για προώθηση στο εσωτερικό της χώρας μίας μη νόμιμης αλλοδαπής.

Ειδικότερα, κατά τη διάρκεια αστυνομικού ελέγχου σε Ι.Χ.Ε. αυτοκίνητο το οποίο οδηγούσε ο κατηγορούμενος, διαπιστώθηκε ότι αυτός προωθούσε στο εσωτερικό της χώρας μία αλλοδαπή, η οποία στερούνταν νόμιμων ταξιδιωτικών εγγράφων παραμονής και εισόδου στην ελληνική επικράτεια. 

Ανωτέρω Ι.Χ.Ε. αυτοκίνητο το οποίο χρησιμοποιήθηκε για τη μεταφορά, κατασχέθηκε.

Οι συλληφθέντες οδηγήθηκαν στον κ. Εισαγγελέα Πλημμελειοδικών  Ιωαννίνων ενώ την προανάκριση για την υπόθεση διενεργεί το Α΄ Τμήμα Συνοριακής Φύλαξης Δελβινακίου.

Tους χειρισμούς της κυβέρνησης στο μεταναστευτικό, ύστερα από το σχέδιο της Άγκυρας να προκαλέσει αποσταθεροποίηση στην Ελλάδα μεταφέροντας χιλιάδες Λαθρομετανάστες στα σύνορα, επικροτεί  η συντριπτική πλειοψηφία της ελληνικής κοινής γνώμης.

Όπως προκύπτει από δύο δημοσκοπήσεις που δημοσιεύονται στον κυριακάτικο Τύπο, πάνδημο είναι αίτημα για κλείσιμο και φύλαξη των συνόρων.

Παράλληλα, η Νέα Δημοκρατία καταγράφει ισχυρό προβάδισμα έναντι του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ στην πρόθεση ψήφου.

Ειδικότερα, στη δημοσκόπηση της Opinion Poll για την εφημερίδα «Πρώτο Θέμα», το 81% συμφωνεί με τη σκλήρυνση της γραμμής της κυβέρνησης στο προσφυγικό ζήτημα, ενώ το 62% των πολιτών δηλώνει ότι αποδοκιμάζει τη στάση που κράτησε στα γεγονότα στον Έβρο ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ.

Η δημοσκόπηση δείχνει πως 90% των πολιτών πιστεύει ότι ο πρωθυπουργός και η κυβέρνηση αντέδρασαν σωστά στον εκβιασμό Ερντογάν.

Στην ίδια δημοσκόπηση, στην πρόθεση ψήφου, το 38,8% των πολιτών δηλώνει ότι θα ψήφιζε τη Νέα Δημοκρατία, έναντι 20,8% που θα ψήφιζε ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, 4,5% που επιλέγει το ΚΙΝΑΛ, 5% που δηλώνει ΚΚΕ, 4,5% που προτιμά την Ελληνική Λύση και 2,7% που θα ψήφιζε ΜέΡΑ25.

Την ίδια ώρα, σε δημοσκόπηση της εταιρείας Interview, για τον «Ελεύθερο Τύπο της Κυριακής», εννιά στους δέκα ερωτηθέντες απαντούν «ναι» στο κλείσιμο των συνόρων αλλά και στην απόφαση της κυβέρνησης να προχωρήσει στη δημιουργία κλειστών δομών.

Απέρριψε ως ανακριβείς τις δημοσιεύσεις ότι οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες θα συνεχίσουν να προσφέρουν στο Κοσσυφοπέδιο οικονομική βοήθεια, εάν παραμείνει η υπέρογκη φορολόγηση των σερβικών προϊόντων.



Αυτό έγραψε ο ειδικός απεσταλμένος του προέδρου των ΗΠΑ, Ρίτσαρντ Γκρένελ για το διάλογο μεταξύ Βελιγραδίου και Πρίστινα.




Συγκεκριμένα ο Γκρένελ απάντησε στις αναφορές του διευθυντή της Gazeta Express Μπεράτ Μπουζάλ,  που επικαλέστηκε τους ισχυρισμούς ενός συνεργάτη του πρωθυπουργού του Κοσσυφοπεδίου, Αλμπίν Κούρτι.


Ο Μπουζάλ έγραψε ότι «Ο Ρίτσαρντ Γκρένελ επιβεβαίωσε σε τηλεφωνική συνομιλία, ότι οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες δεν θα σταματήσουν να στέλνουν οικονομική βοήθεια σε οποιαδήποτε περιοχή στη χώρα μας».


Ο Αλμπίν Κούρτι είχε δηλώσει ότι οι δύο πλευρές συμφώνησαν να συνεχίσουν τη συνεργασία.


Σύμφωνα με τον διευθυντή της Gazeta Exrpess στο όλο ζήτημα υπάρχει μια γενική σύγχυση.


Οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες επιζητούν το διάλογο μεταξύ Βελιγραδίου και Πρίστινα, αλλά η Σερβία θεωρεί ότι για να γίνει οποιασδήποτε διάλογος πρέπει πρώτα να καταργηθούν τα τέλη στα σερβικά προϊόντα τα οποία είναι 100% επί της αξίας τους και εξαιτίας αυτών δεινοπαθεί ο σερβικό πληθυσμός στο Κόσοβο.

Σύμφωνα με αποκλειστικές πληροφορίες της εφημερίδας, η ελληνική κυβέρνηση στέλνει 50 πολεμικά πλοία στα ελληνικά νησιά για να προστατεύσει τα εξωτερικά σύνορα της ΕΕ.


Στον τίτλο του επίμαχου άρθρου, η εφημερίδα αναφέρει:

«Οι Έλληνες απομονώνονται πλήρως από τους πρόσφυγες με αφορμή την κλιμάκωση της έντασης Τουρκίας- Συρίας» και η ελληνική κυβέρνηση στέλνει 50 πολεμικά πλοία στη Μεσόγειο».

Η εφημερίδα Bild επικαλείται υψηλόβαθμο κυβερνητικό εκπρόσωπο που δεν θέλησε να κατονομαστεί.

«Το απόγευμα της Παρασκευής, η Ελλάδα έκλεισε τα σύνορά της με την Τουρκία: όχι μόνο για τους πρόσφυγες, αλλά και για όλους», επισημαίνει το σχετικό δημοσίευμα.

According to media reports, the agreement has two options, border correction or Community Plus, with Serbia's specific demands - an option that, according to their sources, is favored by US intermediaries, "Bota Sot" stated.

«Τον Φεβρουάριο ένα περιστατικό στη Μεσόγειο κατέστησε γι’ άλλη μια φορά σαφές πόσο τεταμένη είναι η κατάσταση εκεί: ένα πλοίο της τουρκικής ακτοφυλακής εμβόλισε ελληνικό περιπολικό σκάφος», σημειώνει το γερμανικό δίκτυο, προσθέτοντας: «Σε αυτή την περιοχή της έντασης παραδίδει η γερμανική επιχείρηση TKMS υποβρύχια στο τουρκικό Πολεμικό Ναυτικό. Έξι υποβρύχια συμπαραγωγής με τουρκική επιχείρηση».

Επικαλούμενο την απάντηση σε επερώτηση της ΚΟ του Αριστερού Κόμματος (die Linke) το ARD αναφέρει ότι η κυβέρνηση μεγάλου συνασπισμού είχε δώσει την έγκρισή της για τη ναυπήγηση των υποβρυχίων κλάσης 214 και ότι το 2011 το γερμανικό κράτος έλαβε εγγυήσεις εξαγωγής ύψους σχεδόν 2,5 δισ ευρώ.
Ανά τον κόσμο υπηρετούν 4 υποβρύχια τύπου 214 στην Ελλάδα (τύπου «Παπανικολής»), 7 στη Νότια Κορέα και 2 στην Πορτογαλία.



Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες του ARD, τα έτη 2015, 2016 και 2017 -δηλαδή και μετά το πογκρόμ διώξεων που εξαπέλυσε η κυβέρνηση Ερντογάν κατά αντιφρονούντων στον απόηχο της απόπειρας πραξικοπήματος- ξεκίνησε η ναυπήγηση τριών υποβρυχίων.

«Τα υποβρύχια που εξάγονται από τη Γερμανία και συναρμολογούνται στην Τουρκία είναι σχεδόν τέλεια επιθετικά όπλα για την τουρκική επιθετική πολιτική στη Μεσόγειο», επισημαίνει η αναπληρώτρια επικεφαλής της Κ.Ο. του Αριστερού Κόμματος Σεβίμ Ντάγκντελεν, υπογραμμίζοντας ότι η κίνηση αυτή συνδέεται και με μεταφορά τεχνογνωσίας από τη Γερμανία στην Τουρκία.

Πρόσθεσε δε ότι η Τουρκία σχεδιάζει να χρησιμοποιήσει τα υποβρύχια «εναντίον της Ελλάδας ή και της Κύπρου».

«Είναι ξεκάθαρο ότι η Τουρκία σχεδιάζει να χρησιμοποιήσει αυτό το επιθετικό όπλο κατά παράβαση του διεθνούς δικαίου εναντίον της Ελλάδας ή και της Κύπρου», δήλωσε επισημαίνοντας ότι «δεν μπορεί να κατανοήσει κανείς πώς ενώ ο εξοπλισμός των τεθωρακισμένων ανεστάλη προσωρινά, η εξαγωγή των καταδιωκτικών υποβρυχίων προχωρά κανονικά», αναφερόμενη στο συμβόλαιο αναβάθμισης αρμάτων μάχης Leopard το οποίο «πάγωσε» όταν ήρθαν στην δημοσιότητα φωτογραφίες που εμφάνιζαν τα γερμανικής κατασκευής άρματα να χρησιμοποιούνται κατά την τουρκική επίθεση στην βόρεια Συρία.

Οι εξαγωγές όπλων προς την Τουρκία προκάλεσαν έντονες συζητήσεις μετά τη δημοσίευση φωτογραφιών με τανκς Leopard γερμανικής παραγωγής κατά την επίθεση εναντίον κουρδικών στρατιωτικών ομάδων στη Συρία. Στη συνέχεια, ο τότε υπουργός Εξωτερικών Ζίγκμαρ Γκάμπριελ απέσυρε την προσφορά του για αναβάθμιση των τουρκικών τανκς τύπου Leopard. Ήδη το περασμένο καλοκαίρι είχε υποσχεθεί μια περιοριστική πολιτική εξαγωγών όπλων.

Σύμφωνα με διάφορα ρεπορτάζ  η TKMS σχεδιάζει την ναυπήγηση υποβρυχίων μαζί με τουρκική επιχείρηση για το Πολεμικό Ναυτικό της Ινδονησίας. H ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems δεν επιβεβαιώνει την πληροφορία τονίζοντας διά εκπροσώπου της ότι αυτή τη στιγμή δεν υπάρχει τέτοιο αίτημα ούτε από την Τουρκία, ούτε από την Ινδονησία.

Στην απάντηση της γερμανικής κυβέρνησης υπογραμμίζεται ότι η Άγκυρα επιδιώκει μακροπρόθεσμα μια «αυτονομία στην εξοπλιστική τεχνολογία». Εδώ και δεκαετίες η στρατηγική της Τουρκίας στις διεθνείς συνεργασίες είναι να επιδιώκει τη μέγιστη δυνατή μεταφορά τεχνογνωσίας.

Το γερμανικό υπουργείο Εξωτερικών, πάντως, προσπαθεί να ρίξει τους τόνους. Εκπρόσωπός του είπε ότι «η γερμανική κυβέρνηση περιμένει από τους δύο Νατοϊκούς εταίρους, Ελλάδα και Τουρκία, να διατηρήσουν μια εποικοδομητική συνεργασία στο πνεύμα των σχέσεων καλής γειτονίας και με σεβασμό του Διεθνούς Δικαίου».

Μόλις πριν από μερικούς μήνες έγινε γνωστό ότι η ομοσπονδιακή κυβέρνηση της Γερμανίας είχε εγκρίνει σημαντικές εξαγωγές όπλων προς την Τουρκία ήδη στις αρχές του έτους. Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες του «Spiegel», το Βερολίνο είχε εγκρίνει μεταξύ της 31ης Ιουλίου του περασμένου έτους και της 15ης Ιανουαρίου του τρέχοντος έτους, εξαγωγές στρατιωτικού εξοπλισμού συνολικής αξίας περίπου 14 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ.

Albania offers amnesty to curb shadow economy, revive growth

TIRANA, March 3 (Reuters) - Albania’s government plans to offer an amnesty to businesses that have failed to disclose funds or made illegal gains for a fee, in an effort to formalise and revive the economy, open firms’ access to capital markets, and plug a budget shortfall.

Business association Konfindustria estimated on Tuesday that Albania’s informal economy equals 50% of Albania’s gross domestic product, adding one million Albanians live abroad and $30 billion had been taken out of the Balkan country illegally.

Finance Minister Anilaj Denaj said the draft law would comply with international standards.

The country of 2.8 million, which borders European Union member state Greece, is pushing to start entry talks with the bloc.

Last year the state earned 26.3 billion leke ($240 million) less than planned and a European body fighting money-laundering is monitoring Albania for compliance on 17 issues.

“Formalising the informal economy is a priority for the Albanian government,” Denaj said.

She said the amnesty and the level of fee would distinguish between those who had gaps on their books and those who had dealt in illegal activities.

“For us this difference is very clear and should be clearly marked, with special tools, and I think this will also help the process of public consultation,” Denaj added.

“We cannot give details on the level of fees, we are still discussing figures. It will be a low level and it would make possible the declaration of assets and stimulate businesses to get formalised, especially the mid-sized and big ones to access capital markets.”

Prime Minister Edi Rama said on the weekend the amnesty would not apply to convicted criminals, politicians, judges and prosecutors.

Denaj said that since Albania toppled communism 30 years ago businesses had often operated with inaccurate financial statements, hurting their chances of getting loans.

“The banking sector feels this the most... That is why we think it (the amnesty) will also stimulate lending,” Denaj said.

According to him, the situation in the Idlib security zone, where the Syrian army has pushed terrorists of the Hayat Tahrir Ash Sham group to a safe distance from Aleppo after attacking its positions, "represents another moment of truth."

He stressed that not only Western states but also the UN welcomed the signing of the Sochi Idlib Province 2018 Memorandum.

Russian proposals implied Turkish control of a strip of the Idlib de-escalation zone, 15 kilometers wide, along the Syrian-Turkish border, where Syrian refugee camps could be located. Currently, Turkish troops are positioned 20-35 kilometers from the border. The proposals also suggested deployment of Russian checkpoints between the Turkish-controlled part of the Idlib de-escalation zone and the areas of operation. Finally, the deal proposed that the M4 and M5 routes be open for traffic under joint Russian-Turkish control.

"No one in the West notices the actions of the Turkish side, which, in violation of international law, has deployed a strike force the size of mechanized division to Syria's Idlib in order to 'enforce the Sochi agreement at any cost'", Konashenkov said in a statement.

He also stressed that public threats to destroy all units of the Syrian government forces and return the M5 highway to terrorist control are viewed by the United States and Europe as "Ankara's legitimate right to defence".

Meanwhile, Damascus has been unfairly accused by the West of alleged "war crimes", "humanitarian catastrophe", and "flows of millions of refugees" in Idlib, Konashenkov added.

"Amid the total cynicism and the West's fake concerns over the humanitarian situation in the Idlib de-escalation zone, only the Russian center for reconciliation of the opposing sides and the legitimate Syrian government deliver to the liberated areas all the needed assistance for local residents daily", Konashenkov said.

Konashenkov added that tormented by terrorists, "Syrians were not even aware of the existence of numerous pseudo-protectors in Europe and the United States, and of the prodigal humanitarian assistance, which was allegedly delivered over the past years".

The Russian Defense Ministry's spokesman also slammed Western nations' claims about their concerns over the humanitarian situation in the Syrian province of Idlib as "total cynicism".

In any case, Moscow and Ankara do not seek to sever ties and are likely to continue to seek solutions to the Idlib equation.

Albania Opposition Rallies to Stop 'Coup D'etat' Over Reforms

TIRANA — Thousands of opposition supporters denounced Albania's government at a protest rally on Monday in a move likely to deepen a row between the country's president and the socialist administration over judicial reforms sought by the West.

Some 8,000 supporters cheered President Ilir Meta when he accused Prime Minister Edi Rama's government of enacting a "coup d'etat" against the constitution and of having ties to organized crime.

In a process monitored by European and U.S. experts, Albania is vetting 850 judges and prosecutors to try to identify and kick out corrupt members of the judiciary.

The European Union has told Albania the reforms must remain a top priority if it wants to join the bloc and the judiciary should have teeth in the fight against corruption and crime.


So far, most Supreme and Constitutional Court judges have been fired, prompting many Albanians to say they were right to view the judiciary as corrupt. However, the opposition says the government is trying to exert undue control over the reformed judicial system.

While filling vacancies for the Constitutional Court, the Socialist-dominated assembly and Meta clashed late last year over the nomination of a judge, with Meta arguing that a body nominating judges had tricked him out of his right also to make nominations.


"To defend democracy, my first duty is to lead the fight against the coup d'etat...," Meta told the crowd.

"Death to the coup d'etat, long live the rule of law, long live the Republic."

When Meta in mid-November refused to swear-in a candidate proposed by parliament, the Socialists went on to pass a bill saying a judge could take the oath at a notary public if the president did not receive him or her.

Justice Minister Etilda Gjonaj has said they had followed the procedure to the letter and the "president had created a fictitious cause to serve his own battles".



After reviewing the rule of law reforms by Albania and North Macedonia, the EU's executive said both countries "have delivered further tangible and sustainable results..."

"..and therefore the Commission’s recommendation to open accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia remains valid," the European Commission said in a statement.

At the rally, Meta signed an official order repealing the bill, although the move appeared to be symbolic, since the proposed legislation now returns to parliament for further consideration.

A parliamentary committee convened by the Socialists has met several times in recent months to discuss the possibility of sacking Meta for cancelling local elections last June after the opposition parties refused to take part. The poll went ahead.

Commission reports on progress made by Albania and North Macedonia

Today, the Commission presented updates on the progress made by Albania and North Macedonia in further addressing rule of law related reforms, in particular in the areas set by the Council in June 2018. Both countries have delivered further tangible and sustainable results and therefore the Commission's recommendation to open accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia remains valid.

Upon the presentation of the reports Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi commented: “After the February adoption of the revised methodology for the accession process, we are today presenting our updates on Albania and North Macedonia. They show that the countries stepped up their work and delivered further tangible and sustainable results in the key areas identified in the Council Conclusions of June 2018. The Commission stands firmly by its recommendations to open accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia and I hope that the Member States will take a positive decision in the coming weeks.”

2020 – working on a three-track approach

The Western Balkans are a priority for the Commission, which is following a three-track approach in 2020. On 5 February, the Commission has set out its proposal to drive forward the EU accession process by making it more credible, more dynamic, more predictable and give it a stronger political steer. In parallel, the Commission stands firmly by its recommendations to open accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia, as both continue to deliver on the reforms. Thirdly, in preparation of the EU-Western Balkans Summit in Zagreb on 6 and 7 May, the Commission will come forward with an economic development and investment plan for the region.

In today's updates, the Commission factually and objectively describes the progress of both countries from June 2018 to today in the areas highlighted by the Council.

In the case of Albania, the update outlines progress in the implementation of justice reform and the vetting process of judges and prosecutors, on the track record demonstrated in the fight against corruption and organised crime, including when it comes to cannabis cultivation and hard drugs trafficking. It also points to other relevant issues, such as agreement on the way forward to electoral reform and efforts to tackle unfounded asylum claims.

In the case of North Macedonia, the update covers significant steps taken to strengthen independence of judiciary, including the recent adoption of the revised law on the Public Prosecutor's Office. It shows an improved track record in the fight against corruption and organised crime as well as progress in the reform of intelligence services and public administration.

Background

In April 2018, the European Commission recommended to open accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia. In June 2018, the Council acknowledged progress and set out the path towards opening accession negotiations, depending on progress made in certain key areas.

Following further positive recommendations by the Commission in May 2019, the Council postponed its decision to June and then October 2019 before deciding to revert to the issue of enlargement before the Zagreb Summit in May 2020.

The General Affairs Council in March 2020 is expected to discuss the way ahead for enlargement policy, based on the revised methodology, as well as progress made by North Macedonia and Albania, with a view to opening accession talks. The European Commission will present in a few months a more detailed assessment of the general state of play in all the enlargement partners in its annual enlargement package. LINK
