BELGRADE -- Serbian PM Ivica Dačić has said that Serbia does not need conflicts and wars and that nobody should die for it but that everybody should live and work for it.

He attended an election assembly of the United Regions of Serbia (URS) on Sunday and said that it was not easy to run Serbia today “because the hardest thing is to fight for peace and for a modern country”.
“This is not a medieval Serbia but 21 century Serbia. Strong Serbia is good for the entire Serbian people in the region,” Dačić pointed out, stressing that “justice is the soul of Serbia”.

“Justice means that there is a principle of equal chances for everyone. Equal chances can be in human rights and freedoms, economic development, availability of public systems to all citizens, right to education and health care for everyone,” the prime minister stressed.

He added that the equal chance system meant that every part of Serbia had the right and chance to develop equally, which is why he supported an idea of equal chances for all regions.

Dačić noted that it was time for Serbia to form a concept as to how it should look like and call on the URS to “jointly move toward new time”.

“There are many parties in Serbia, but there is only one Serbia,” he stressed
