Albania tourism destinations

Albania introduced four-month visa-free travel for Russians today. The country’s government announced this decision for a term between the 25th of May and the 25th of September., VoR Reported.

Opening its borders Tirana hopes to increase the number of Russian tourists. Almost 12,000 Russians visited Albania in 2012.

Tour operators working in Albania stress that the main obstacles for the growth of the number of Russian tourists are not visa issues but the absence of direct air communication, shortage of hotels and low-quality service at holiday resorts.
