Besides Balkans Athens and Belgrade ...

Written by OBSERVER OF THE BALKANS
The Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu during his recent speech at a ceremony in Skopje nomination of an Honorary Doctorate by the University "St. Cyril and Methodius", highlighted that "Skopje is the city of dreams, cultural and spiritual center not only of Balkans and Europe "!!!. The coiner of the slogan "from the Balkan wars to the Balkan peace," gave us a history lesson again, stressing that "the Balkans has always been multicultural and multi-religious space, their past which they marked by conflicts and wars, as commonly believed," while emphasizing "Skopje can be powerful, if not strong Constantinople, as Istanbul can not be strong if it is not strong Tirana, Sarajevo and Sofia."
Noting that the Turkish Foreign Ministry does not mention Pristina, probably because for this exercise lobbied internationally wondered "Where is Athens andBelgrade "and if their omission, formulated, is random. Does this mean that the Balkan cities Davutoglu says can be strong without the Athens and Belgrade or they can be effective only if Athens and Belgrade is not strong?, Asks Prof. Tanaskovits.
The above report reminds us once again called the'' vertical'' Balkans, namely coalition countries (Albania-Macedonia-Montenegro-Bosnia-Bulgaria), modeled on the former Yugoslavia in order to weaken both the model of other Greater Albania to separate the Orthodox axis Greece - Belgrade.
