Rama: The opposition will continue to protest for ballot

“Monitoring organizations of Albania elections have reconfirmed their positive assessments of June 28 elections and consider them free and fair. The international factor has called on the Albanian opposition to take its seats in the Parliament within the Constitutional deadline."

In a statement published by the Council of Ministers of Albania, Premier Berisha states that "Mr. Joao Soares, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President, fully refers to the conclusions of the OSCE/ODIHR final report on Albania elections; he reiterates his appeal to the Albanian opposition to put an immediate end to the boycott and take its seats in the Parliament. Likewise, President Soares welcomes the ruling majority and opposition willingness for setting up of a Parliamentary Investigative Commission for fully investigating the elections, in complete respect of the country Constitution and the important rulings of the Constitutional Court."


Anyway, the opposition leader Edi Rama, declared today that "the protests of Albanian opposite will continue until the ballot will be open".
