New Unite with Kosovo and Albania, consulate in Milan

New consulate in Milan
The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said that his recent visit in Italy gave him a closer look to the work and staff of the Albanian Consulate in Milan, with the quality of service that this consulate offers to the Albanian citizens who work and study in Italy.

According to Consul Rezart Shkembi, the Consulate in Milano serves to 120 citizens a day in average. He declared that better premises would increase the service quality.

The Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, declared that within a short time they give an end to a corruptive and abusive practice through which the consulate used to treat the Albanian citizens.

“It was a very good thing ending the so called ‘Call Center’ that took money from the Albanian citizens in a very corruptive way. Our objective is to have quicker, more transparent and cheaper services for all Albanian citizens”, Bushati declared.

Rama said that the Albanian Consul in Milan and the Foreign Minister will have full support from the government for guaranteeing qualitative service to the citizens.

The Prime Minister encouraged the implementation of a project for a newer and bigger consulate, in which they will serve to the Albanian and Kosovo citizens.

“The flux will be even bigger, since in the same space we will offer services to the staff of the Kosovo consul, for which we have agreed and it will be activated very soon. The Milan Consulate will be the consulate of Albanians from Albania and Kosovo”, Rama declared.
