An activist of human rights, violated in Himara

Member of the Civil Society of Himara, Koco Koka was violated because he protected property in Qiparo Village, the Himara Region, by gangs that are using himariotes properties, such as private beaches

The Himara Community, and the "CoastLine Association", warn protests for civil and human rights in Himara Region, urging again the U.S. government representatives in Tirana, Alexander Arvizu, to visit the Himara Region, and see live how the properties of U.S. citizens
descent from Himara ..are violated by Mafia.

Serious event, is written by the Albanian press is quite disturbing, the fact that 83-year-old Koco Koka, is prominent activist of the Himara Community, which has made efforts together with his wife, to protect his property by vandals, who , have invaded private and public properties of himariotes indigenous families.

Concern is the fact that the members of the family property "Koka", are also U.S. citizens, for which charges concern the U.S. diplomatic responsibility in Tirana.

A memorandum signed between the U.S. and the Albanian government, in 1995, speaks clearly constitutional obligations of U.S. citizens property shall be inviolable in all the territory of Albania and especially in the Himara Region.
