They also installed a stage for demonstrations in the center of Tirana, "Novosti" has learned.

The latest information is that the protesters will be divided into two groups and will try to cut the cars that go from the airport. One group will protest in front of the government building in this city, and the other plans to cut the road from the airport where President Vučić is.

According to "Novosti" sources, the organizers of the demonstration are Sait Dolapi, former organizational secretary of the local Democratic Party, and Agron Kuliçaj and Sali Lushaj, people most trusted by former President and Prime Minister Sali Berisha. Well-informed interlocutors claim that Berisha personally contacted Ramush Haradinaj in order to ensure the presence of at least 100 people from Kosovo at this protest.

We remind you that Albanian protesters also protested against President Vučić in 2019, when he visited Tirana in order to agree with Edi Rama on the "Open Balkans" initiative.

US Embassy in Tirana: Situation unstable
On the occasion of the protest of the Albanian demonstrators in Tirana, who are indignant because of the visit of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, the American Embassy in Albania called on its citizens to avoid parts of the city because the situation is "unpredictable".

"American citizens are advised to avoid any large gatherings in the city. Although it can be peaceful, the situation can change quickly and unpredictably," the US embassy said.

Nishani: A turning point in the history of Albania
Former President of Albania Bujar Nishani said that today is a critical moment and a turning point in the history of Albania.

He said that theft and betrayal are being fought in this fight. Nishani said that the hegemony of Serbia must not be renewed. According to him, this government worked only for its own pocket and for the enemies of Albania.

"This century is and will be the century of Albanians. We have never been against cooperation. This is an anti-European project," he said.

Tërmkolli: "Open Balkans is a knife in Kosovo's back"
Former LDK MP Melihate Tërmkolli said the "Open Balkans" is a knife in the back of Kosovo and all Albanians.

She said they would continue to oppose the pact with all their might.

According to her, "Open Balkans" means a new Yugoslavia.
