Prosecution asks court to order Seselj to return

THE HAGUE -- The Hague Prosecution has asked the Trial Chamber of the Hague Tribunal (ICTY) to order war crimes indictee Vojislav Seselj to return to the detention unit.

He was last month granted provisional release on medical grounds.
The prosecution said that Seselj's behavior while in Serbia had "undermined" the spirit of that decision, made at own initiative and for humanitarian reasons by the chamber presided over by Judge Jean Claude Antonetti.

The prosecution demands that the decision now be revoked and Seselj ordered to return.

The prosecution also wants a debate on his health condition to be held after that, and about the conditions under which he could possibly once again be granted provisional release.
