Greek Court : Jail for former Greek consul in Korca , Greek Ekonomu 1 year prison sentences
Theodoros Ekonomu Kamarino was sentenced to a year in jail , three years probation and a fine of 5000 euros , after being found guilty of " improper conduct during his stay in Korca " , a charge that relates to the visa issuing procedures Greek for citizens.
In his testimony , former consul accused argued that " the court can not objectively judge a service that is the subject of international relations " .

At this time Prosecutor intervened saying " This area ( Northern Epirus ) is no longer ours . We should use the term " southern Albania " , and not as we like ."
