 The Greek government reacts to conflict in Përmet again, between the Municipality and the Orthodox Church.

This time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sparked of the neighboring country even more the situation, calling emergency Albanian ambassador in Athens, Dashnor Dervishi, presented to the latter a protest note, TCH reports.

In a press statement, the ministry condemned the act of violence against a Greek citizen and a minority group, in Përmet occurred, as well as the stoning the Greek consulates in town.

According to the headquarters of the Greek diplomacy, these two acts of unprecedented violence threaten bilateral relations.

Hence, the statement said, Athens seeks immediate arrest of the authors and the Albanian government calls take immediate measures to normalize the situation in Permeti area.
