BELGRADE -- Milovan Drecun has said that "initiatives to form certain Serb institutions in Kosovo, like the provisional assembly of Kosovo, were a form of self-organizing."
That is in line with the government policy, said this SNS MP and chairman of the Parliament Committee on Kosovo and Metohija.
"Serbia's official policy is that local elections should be held on November 3 and that the Serbs should vote and later form the association of Serb municipalities," he told reporters at the parliament building in Belgrade.

He also commented on the fact the Kosovo assembly in Priština did not adopt the amnesty law on Thursday by saying that failure to adopt the law would undermine the implementation of the Brussels agreement "and allow abuses by Priština."

"I think Washington and Brussels will do their part of the work now and we will have a law on amnesty soon," Drecun stated.

The Brussels agreement has become the integral part of Serbia's policy regarding Kosovo and it has to be implemented in its entirety, he was quoted as saying by Tanjug.
