Properties: Himara at crossroads, between chaos and insurgency

The law which is waiting to approve by the Albanian parliament, does not solve problems in Himara Region
Insecurity and threats from the Mafia, the reflection of residents have returned to protect the land, according to historical laws of "Himara Venomes"

Finally, the Albanian parliament, did not resolve the issue of ownership in the Ionian coast, in which the Himara Region, is part of it. Similarly, local administration, which refers to the laws of Albania, is at the crossroads of the ownership reform implementation.

Albanian courts are fully displayed in the service of the Mafia, and looting the properties of himariotes, from the central government in Tirana (Power and Oposition).

Ex Mayor of Himara Bollano Basil, who has been an absolute despotic power of 7 years, had a single mission: to protect property, Himara Region families, but unfortunately, in the end, did the opposite.

The situation is very bad move, and last hope, were Himara Civil Society, which sought from the Albanian parliament, to return the property to the community and the Orthodox Church, considers failed of teh Albanian State on wich, with "discriminated laws", aproved the existence of the Law 7501 which has divided the himariotes family.

In the same line, unfortunately, the Athens remained stoped. Greece, backed a project togather with European Union to manage the property in Ionian Coast area, including the Greek compatriots of Himara Region, but the process, has failed, although for the third time the mission was taken over by OSCE. The mission has stopped recording any ownership, while the Albanian parliament, under the new law aproved, was alive vein initiatives to continue the project. .... But unfortunately, the Albanian parliament, takes no account of, the right of ownership inherent in Himara Region.

Situated in such circumstances, the character takes the dangerous situation, because the laws of Albania, can not take in citizen protection, which requires property inherited from his parents. The shocking fact is the number of judicial processes that have gone 7500 cases, only the ownership of the courts and the prosecution of Albania, in a population of not more than 12 thousand inhabitants, which is currently the registry in Himara Municipality.

But the continuing lack of electricity, the aument of additional workers in an unjustified way from northern Albania, who work in service of construction in Himara Region, which is implementing by the Mafia, and the ever growing of community, that insecurity is threatening to property and perspective of the future, has caused reaction to have legitimate defense, because ultimately, lthey have lost faith in Albanian laws and the state police.
