Berisha meets Italian senator, Volonte

Prime Minister Berisha received today the Italian senator, Luca Volonte, at the same time President of the European People’s Party at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Berisha valued the role of this institution for the contribution given to the Arab countries, by sharing their experience for solidifying the democracy.

In this framework, Berisha guaranteed that the next Albanian Presidency at the Council of Europe will continue the contribution for consolidating the democracy in the Arab countries and to encourage the respecting of the human rights.

In this meeting were also discussed the latest political events in Albania, where the participants expressed their appreciation for the political cooperation in realizing the Integration reforms for Albania’s EU membership.
