Why do citizens recently leave their land from Himara, to go to Greece?

SManalysis

An investigation has been carried out for which about 140 families from the Himara Region are counted in the autumn of this year, to leave their homes and emigrate to Greece for the second time.

The reasons why they emigrate are as economic as they are political. According to them, the difficult conditions of not resolving the issue of property and their investments are primary and determining. They accuse the Albanian government of committing genocide against the Greeks of Himara, blocking and robbing their assets inherited from their grandparents, while the government favors through laws, the Albanian mafia which is dominated by oligarchs with political ties to Albanian lawmakers.

"They do not give us any building permits, because they tell us the area is still unmanaged, while for Muslim Albanians, the Albanian state provides them with stolen mortgage permits and building permits, so we risk assimilation, a form that even the dictatorship tried to he did but he did not succeed, apparently they are doing it in the eyes of Europe and the USA ", they say.

But some say that the lands of several dozen Himariots families have been looted by Albanian oligarchs, who through the laws they have financed in the Albanian Parliament, have favored the looting of land as a Strategic Investor by nationalizing the property, and on them, have built hundreds villas, which they sell for millions of euros. We do not know that we live in a "civilized European" world, while taking the land inherited by the "Law" to build and sell it in the corrupt market.

Other reasons are the lack of electricity and public order where the constant filling of the region with Albanians, the lack of medical services which reach the lowest standards in all of Albania, have increased thefts and rapes of homes and are cannabizing their country Himara.

Himara is an ethnically pure region, 15 thousand people about 90% are early Greeks, but in recent years as a result of the influx of Muslim Albanians through strategic oligarchic investments, they have forcibly changed the composition of the population, and paradoxically no international pressure. , including Greece, has not stopped them. Revenues for tourism are approximately 1/3 of the lord of 2 billion euros of tourism for the state budget, which are almost controlled by the young Albanian oligarchic occupiers.

But especially they emphasize that many of the Himariots are facing absurd laws while in the Vlora prosecutor's office, about 30 families are prosecuted because the police have arrested them because they built in their backyard, when no one gives them permission.

Based on the question of how to proceed to hear their rights in European institutions, they accuse the Albanian state, that they are committing silent genocide and ethnic cleansing with laws approved by the Albanian parliament.
