Tirana, Euro gets "crazy"

In recent weeks Euro has touched the higher quotes compared to Lek. In the foreign exchange, one euro is exchanged with about 142 leks for several weeks while there was a tendency toward growth. Also the U.S. dollar has increased against the Albanian lek and a dollar is exchanged with about 98 Lek. According to experts this level of exchange of Euro to lek is quite negative and has a range of direct impacts.

The growth of Euro also directly affects prices as well as increases the cost of loans in this currency for those who take the income in ALL and credit in euros.
According to specialists significant impact on increasing the value of the euro has had the global economic crisis.
