Himara tragedy caused by excessive speed

The Albanian State police announced that the cause of the tragic Himara accident that took the lives of 13 people was the high speed of the vehicle. 

Police declared that the allowed norm at the accident site is 20 kilometers per hour, while the bus was at 40 kilometers per hour.

“Based on the road signs, the allowed speed is 20 kmh. There are also warning signs showing that the road has a 10% gradient, and there are other signs that warn the drivers about double turns. The vehicle didn’t show any defect in the system”, declared the Spokesperson for the State Police, Klejda Plangarica.

The state of the tires was also normal, while the left one had exploded after contacting with the guardrails. 

“After the inspection, the experts verified that the breaking system was working but it was no successful to avoid the accident. Based on the evidence, the speed was above the limit, which is the main cause of this accident”, the announcement stated.

These days, a lot of crashes are caused by excessive speed. That's why, more and more drivers get speeding tickets Toronto. To avoid these traffic tickets and car accidents, all drivers should be more careful. I'm very sorry for those 13 people! May their souls rest in peace!:(
