FYROM still without government. Contradictory news about coalitions
FYROM still without government. Contradictory news about coalitions
Contradictory declarations keep coming from FYROM.
Zoran Zaev, leader of the LSDM, said this Friday they agreed with Albanian parties to form the new government, after finding consensus about several matters, especially the establishing of Albanian as second official language. Zaev said that the new government could be formed by early March.
But the leader of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti, said that the BDI might remain in opposition, although they will give Zaev the signatures to stary in government. However, according to Bujar Osmani, this doesn’t mean that they decided to be in coalition with the LSDM. “Our purpose is that the program is realized”, he said for journalists.
The VMRP-DPMNE of Nikolla Gruevski reacted right after the agreement. The warned to oppose it with all legal manners. Gruevski said the LSDM and Zoran Zaev want to remove power from sllavo Macedonians.
The two other Albanian parties, the Besa Movement and the Alliance for Albanians have supported the LSDM, and say they will be on the coalition if their requests are fulfilled.
