Kotzias visits Washington D.C. to meet Tillerson: Panos Kammenos will follow
The Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will be in Washington D.C. next week for contacts with the US political leadership.
Greek Foreign Ministry officials confirmed the information and mentioned that FM Kotzias will travel to Washington D.C. via Brussels.
A meeting with his US counterpart, Rex Tillerson has already been arranged, while he’s expected to participate in other meetings with American officials.
His agenda consist of: Greek-American relations, regional issues, Cyprus and Greek-Turkish relations.
Moreover, according to reports, by the end of the month, the Greek Minister of National Defence, Panos Kammenos (founder of the right-wing party “Independent Greeks”), will be in Washington D.C., in order to have meetings with the American Pentagon and he will represent the Greek government on White House celebration of the historic anniversary of the 25th of March.
He will also visit US military facilities in Texas and Virginia.
