An explosive device was planted next to a motel, which is located across the street from the Rectorate of the University of Priština and the Faculty of Philosophy.
The strong blast smashed the windows of the motel and a nearby apartment building, Tanjug's correspondent reported.

Members of the Kosovo police marked the place of detonation with yellow tape, and its specialized teams will investigate the scene during the day.

KFOR soldiers and EULEX police officers were also present on the scene.

The motive for another bomb attack remains unknown. There were around 30 similar incidents in Kosovska Mitrovica in the past three months.

The most serious one took place in Bošnjacka Mahala, a neighborhood in northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica in early February, when an explosion left two Serb children injured.
