Tirana. The Catholic Church expresses concern over the breakthrough of radical Islam in Albania, reads a Holy See report, Macedonian news agency MIA reports from Tirana.
Archbishop of Shkodra, Monsignor Angelo Masafra has submitted a detailed report to the ACR Foundation, which is a donor of the Catholic clergy.
"Radical Islam upsets the Muslim tradition itself. There are enormous funds pouring in from Saudi Arabia and Turkey", reads the report.
Ilir Kulla, former chair of the Association of Religious Communities, believes the last census in Albania has in a way accelerated radicalism.
