Netherlands, the first obstacle on the status of Albania

Dutch diplomat Frans Timmermans with Albanian counterpart Ditmir Bushati provides support of Netherlands in the process of EU integration. On his part , the Minister expressed confidence that Albania candidate status in December is achievable, and emphasized that much work remains to be done to enable the opening of negotiations for EU membership .

In a joint press conference held at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Minister Timmermans Bushati stressed readiness to intensify bilateral relations in various fields .
