Hellenic National Defence General Staff Change of Command

On Thursday November 3, 2011 General Mikhail Kostarakos assumed duties as Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff from General (Air) Ioannis Giagkos. The HNDGS Change of Command Ceremony was held at the facilities of the Air Force Academy (Dekeleia, Attica).

The ceremony was attended and honored by the presence of the Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Beglitis, Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Konstantinos Spiliopoulos, the Chiefs of General Staffs as well as by High Ranking and Senior Officers.
