Topi: "The Census, a normal process"


The Head of the "Red and Black Alliance" say that the "Albanian census is going well"


President: Registration, a normal process
The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, declared from Gjirokaster that it is necessary to preserve communication and tolerance between the local and central adminsitrations.

“The dialogue is an important element of democracy for cooperating in the citizens interest”, declared the Head of the Albanian State.

The Albanian President was received at the Gjirokaster Municipality by the Mayor Flamur Bime and local leaders.

Mayor Bime declared that this was a much expected visit, and he thanked the President for coming in the southern town. The President declared that the obligations of his duty have prevented him from making this visit, and he expressed his pleasure for being in Gjirokaster, a town of great cultural heritage.

Asked about the Census, President Bamir Topi declared that the population registration is a normal process for people to know each other better and who they are.

“If the process has had a good progress or not, it is up to the respective authorities”, he declared.

The Head of the Albanian State underlined that he will continue promoting the ened for understanding.
