Independent Greeks (ANEL), the junior coalition partner in the Syriza-led government, called for the setting up of an investigation committee which will examine the conditions that led Greece into signing a bailout programme, party leader Panos Kammenos said at the party's parliamentary group meeting on Wednesday.
"ANEL's parliamentary group unanimously decided the drawing up of a text on the establishment of an examining committee," Kammenos said, according to state news agency ANA-MPA.
According to sources cited by the agency, Kammenos briefed his deputies on the developments related to the Eurogroup meeting saying Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis negotiated "under very harsh and difficult conditions" and this was the first time Germany was sidestepped.
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will Kammenos later on Wednesday in parliament after the end of their respective parliamentary group meetings. The two men are expected to discuss issues related to the Defence ministry.
