Fule: Kosovo may complete SAA process next spring

PRIŠTINA -- Stefan Fule stated in Priština on Thursday that Kosovo may wrap up the process of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) in the spring of 2014.

The EU enlargement commissioner told a joint press conference held with Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci that the decision on opening SAA negotiations with Kosovo was "a deserved reward for the great work Kosovo's institutions have done."
He also said and that EU members decided unanimously to approve the start of SAA talks with Kosovo.

With this decision, Fule added, Kosovo has definitely entered the agenda of EU integration and membership.

Fule also commended "Priština's constructive role in talks with Belgrade."

Fule also addressed a special session of the assembly in Priština.
