Damaged road in Vlore-Himare

The Radhima residents and owners of hotels alongside the coastline protested this monday against the bad conditions for the Vlore-Himara road.

Six months ago the road was divided in two, so that workers could install the pipelines needed for dividing the sewerage and drinking water.

This affects the movement in this axes and pollution, besides creating long queues in a busy traffic. More than 20.000 vehicles cross this axes in more than 24 hours.

The road has a direct influence on tourism. It’s construction a few years ago has increased the number of tourists, while the recent problems have lowered the visits.
