Albania-Kosovo joint patrols during summer

General Director of Kosovo Police, Rilind Mexhuani and director general of the Albanian State Police Burgaj, signed in Tirana agreement for joint patrolling in the streets of Albania during the summer, according to a notice of the Kosovo Police.

According to the announcement, the two directors praised the co-operation between the two police forces, with special focus on common operational measures to be applied by the respective police.

"Increased safety in road traffic, sharing experiences, strengthening road safety, prevent accidents with consequences for life and punishing violators of traffic rules, are elements of the contents of the signed agreement , "the statement said .

It notes that the establishment of measures at border crossings as explicated action necessary to create incentives for citizens of both countries. The agreement covers the period from June to September 2013.
