Just a few minutes ago, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, stated that he would not attend the June 27 meeting in Washington.
The decision follows accusations by The Hague Special Court against President Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veseli, who are accused of war crimes.
Hoti says that he will return to Kosovo to deal with the situation, while he says that he has also informed Ambassador Grenell.
Earlier, Hoti came out in support of Thaçi and Veseli, saying that the war in Kosovo was just and liberating.
"Due to the new developments in Pristina as a result of the accusations submitted by the Office of the Specialized Prosecutor, I have to return to Pristina to deal with the situation.
I have informed Ambassador Grenell that he cannot attend the June 27 meeting at the White House, "Hoti said.
