Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in his mad dash for a neo-Ottoman Empire pushes the dream of the “Blue Homeland” that aims to steal Greece’s Eastern Aegean Islands and maritime space.

This is in contrary to international law and Erdoğan openly supports this dream by even posing in front of maps of it.

It is clear that Turkey are attempting to provoke a situation with Greece to distract their own population from the declining economic situation as the coronavirus continues to ravage the country.

The German Ministry of the Interior confirmed that a Turkish soldier fired a shot at 19:15 on Tuesday evening at German police assisting Greek soldiers at the Greece-Turkey border, as reported by Greek City Times.

This was then followed up again on Friday night when Turkish soldiers fired at least 50 bullets on the Greek side of the border, as again reported by Greek City Times.
