The approval of the amendments to the Criminal Code was unconstitutional. This is a coercive method of Rama, which will have consequences in the future analyst Fatos Lubonja said.
Lubonja commented on the latest political events in the country, emphasizing that Rama's government has done very little for citizens and businesses, remaining focused on the oligarchs.
"In some respects, the pandemic has strengthened Rama's power. In relation to the opposition and the results of the pandemic itself, its power has been strengthened. What I think weakens and continues to weaken is the economic issue. The government has done very, very little. It has continued to be a government focused on the interests of oligarchs. Protests over growing authoritarianism have exploited the pandemic of growing authoritarianism. We have less democratic sensitivities than Serbia or Montenegro, less dissent, and the people are poorer, more submissive. ” - said Lubonja.
He said the entire civil society is on state payrolls being paid there. Lubonja also commented on the university elections, saying that the government is demanding the capillary capture of everything, adding that no elections can be held at a time when Albania has the wildest guarantee in Europe.
Regarding justice, Lubonja said the reform was aimed at political warfare, adding that the system was sluggish.
He also added that President Meta is getting ready for the next bargain with Rama and if that happens, the loser will be the head of state.
"The approval of the amendments to the Criminal Code was unconstitutional. This is a coercive method of Rama, which will have consequences in the future. ” He said.
