Hodges, who was interviewed during the Belgrade NATO Week gathering on Thursday, told Insajder that the humanitarian title was "a facade."
Asked whether "the problem" with the RSHC was that it was "very close to (US army base in Kosovo) Bondsteel," Hodges said:
"I don't believe it's a humanitarian center. That's the facade, but that's not what it's for."
"That is not what that place is for. They should be a little more transparent, and I would love an invitation to go there and visit," he added.
Asked whether there were any plans for KFOR to leave Kosovo, the US general replied:
"The decision to continue the KFOR mission, that's a decision for the alliance (NATO). For the US army, my part in this, is to provide US army soldiers for the mission. And as far as I can see, my assumption is, at least the next five years. So we have no plans to leave, I am being resourced for at least the next five years."
