May 6, 2017

VECERNJE NOVOSTI

Serbian security services revealed that about 800 armed “Kosovo Liberation Army” (KLA) veterans entered the territory of FYROM (Macedonia) from Kosovo, reported Serbian daily “Novosti”.

The maneuver was performed on two occasions, and according to operative data, Albanian extremists were equipped with automatic rifles. They entered Macedonian territory in small groups and, at the same time, secretly transported loads of weapons. The same scenario was used when Albanians were preparing for war in Kosovo and Metohija, but then weapons was transported from Albania to Kosovo.

The first movement of former KLA members to Macedonia was registered late last year and coincides with a meeting of representatives of all Albanians in the region, held in Albania on 23 December.

At the secret meeting, according to “Novosti”, a sign was given for aggressive revival of the “Greater Albania” project. Those present were political leaders of the Albanians from Kosovo, from south Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro. Veterans of the notorious KLA and its branches – the Liberation Army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja were also present.

Second movement of extremists from Kosovo was reported a month and a half ago. According to intelligence data, there are two main corridors of movement of these groups – to the municipalities of Lipkovo and Aracinovo, on the north and south of Macedonia.

Macedonian authorities have taken no action even though they were informed by Serbian security officials.

Few days ago Serbian Military Security Agency (VBA) confiscated a large quantity of weapons which is assumed to should have been illegally transported to Macedonia. The arsenal was found in the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac.
