Fico: Slovakia will not recognize Kosovo

Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico said that his country would never recognize independence of Kosovo and greeted Serbia’s constructive approach in the region.

We are closely in touch with the developments of Belgrade- Pristina relations, but like Serbia, Slovakia has no reason to change its stand on the Kosovo issue.
We will not recognize Kosovo, Fico told a joint press conference with Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic in Bratislava.
