Tirana. Albanian parliament is working out amendments to the Penal Code, which envisages incrimination of participation of Albanian citizens in wars and armed conflicts abroad, Macedonian Vecer daily writes.
The proposal was made by a group of MPs, headed by chairperson of the legislative committee Fatmir Djafaj.
“Albanian citizens, who do not have citizenship for any country under an armed conflict outside the territory of Albania, will be sentenced to ten years imprisonment,” the proposed amendment says.
