Defencenet Department reports that one of the priorities of the Presidency of the European Union by Greece , will be strict control of European borders , in which illegal immigration from the east , but also in particular , control of maritime and terrestrial borders with Albania , will be given more importance , because traffickers and drug and weapons smuggling , have become problematic for the Greek authorities and the population of the north of Greece .

In this context, actions , special teams will be empowered rapid intervention , to prevent any attempt to crack group of smugglers , adding military personnel , we have some basis in the island of Corfu .
