With signs saying “Prime Minister, don’t poison us”, or “Albania, destination of tourist resources, not chemical weapons”, the citizens asked the government and politicians to say no to any possible agreement for dismantling the chemical weapons in Albania.
“They should be careful with the chemical weapons. As Albanians, we will say no to every Parliament Member or politicians that wants to import them”, said the environmentalist Sazan Guri.
“We have the opportunity to put our logic at work, and one of the elementary questions is why the chemical weapons should be eliminated in Albania”, asked Mustafa Nano.
The protesters continued their march on the boulevard and stopped at the Parliament’s Office. They will ask the Parliament Members for an interpellation with the Prime Minister.
Protesters asked all citizens to help raising awareness among them and say “no” to the Syrian chemical weapons, and warned another protest this Saturday.
