Ankara. A Turkish policeman has died in hospital after being injured in a fall during anti-government protests in southern Turkey, the third fatality in seven days of nationwide unrest, local media said Thursday, cited by AFP.

The officer, Mustafa Sari, was badly hurt after falling from a bridge as he chased protesters in the city of Adana on Wednesday, where police used tear gas and water cannon to disperse demonstrators, the private NTV news channel reported. He died on the same day.
