Provocation staged against Russian Embassy in Tirana

SKOPJE, December 31 (Itar-Tass) — A powerful firecracker was thrown onto the grounds of the Russian Embassy in Tirana in the evening of December 30.
None of the Embassy personnel was injured and no damage to the building was caused as a result of what Embassy spokesman Stanislav Lagutin described as a “provocation”.
“The ambassador of Russia to Albania, Leonid Abramov, sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Albania. The local police are looking for the malefactors.
