Himara Civil Society, express critical messages for the Municipality Council
The Himara Municipality Council, does not necessarily represent the views and interests of the population of Himara Region, while the administration and the Mayor, voted by 3 thousand inhabitants resident, while the largest community of Himara Region, which accounted actually about 25 thousand citizens with dual citizenship in Diaspora, live especially in Albania, Europe and USA
Municipal Council decisions, without transparency for greater part of community, the Himara in Diaspora, missing internet communication
Decisions approved by the communist law of the land, 7501, and increase of taxes, contrary to traditional interest,for the population of Himara
The Mayor George Goro, promised to meet with Civil Society of Himara, in the first month next year

Having taken part in a Himara Municipality Meetings of Council, two major associations, "Coast Association, and Himara Community", in an open letter to members of the Council, expressed criticisms and calling Municipality of Himara administration, closely cooperate with civil society of Diaspora and interest groups, to finally resolve the issue of ownership, as a negative factor, which brings division and disharmony historical Himara of the 26 century Independence.
Civil society, called the Himara member of Council, to unite, in a position, to receive an answer, in a period of three months, to the Albanian government and parliament, to decide finally legally, to resolve the property of residents, community and the Orthodox Church, in Himara Region.
