Edi Rama: SP, clear program for the elections

Rama: SP, clear program for the elections
The Socialist leader, Edi Rama, gathered the discussion table for the political program, which according to him will be clearer than ever when the elections will approach.

“When the Socialist Party enters the elections, the citizens should already have a clear program. Our program has started with ambition and will be a long and detailed process”, Rama declared.

The Socialist leader underlined that most of the Albanians think that the country is going the wrong direction, which, according to him, makes it very necessary for a new politics.

“We have the good will and desire to give a solution to the Albanian people. Today more than ever, we need a new policy for Albania and the Albanians”, Rama underlined.

An important point of the Socialist plan will be the local autonomy, which has always been a priority of this party.

The opposition leader commented the preliminary Census results, published only recently, considering them as very encouraging for the Albanians.

“The Census data show how many Albanians have left the country due to the absence of jobs. Our program has an ambitious promise for creating 300.000 new jobs”, Rama declared.

Another problem mentioned by Rama was corruption in the health system, a phenomenon that according to him has turned into a real plague for this important sector.

The health system has plunged in corruption. We will work for a health system that belongs to all citizens”, Rama underlined.

Among other issues treated by the Socialist leader, were those of the property right and the media freedom. Rama declared that justice should be made with the property, because the current government is not returning it to the legal owners.

As for the media, Rama thinks that today they are functioning as loudspeakers of the government, or have been isolated in small islands, damaging this way that little independence that has remained to them”, Rama added.
