Self-Determination calls for union with Albania |

PRIŠTINA -- Leader of the Self-Determination movement Albin Kurti has stated that the Kosovo authorities should turn to Albania to negotiating a union with that country. Kurti visited Klina, central Kosovo, to begin a campaign against dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. He criticized the authorities, saying they want to discuss a division of Kosovo with Serbia instead of a union with Albania. Kurti formed a Self-Determination council in Klina on Tuesday, which is meant to help turn the public opinion against the negotiations with Belgrade. According to him, there is no need for talks with Serbia because it does not recognize Kosovo's independence and should ask for forgiveness for the genocide committed against the Albanian people. The negotiations with Serbia are meant to fulfill the six-point plan by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Kurti stated |
