Greek-Israeli joint air exercise on Ionian Sea




Image Greek-Israeli joint exercise is planned in early November (with reservations because of the elections, however, before December) with the participation of Israeli helicopters and special forces of the Air Force and Army, according to information defencenet.gr.

More specifically the focus of the exercise is to be the Andravida air base and the region of the Ionian Sea, in which the Greek air forces with Israeli forces. The purpose of the exercise scenarios will be search and rescue combat (CSAR). The Israelis give special importance to this exercise as an estimated critical when rescue crews Israeli aircraft might take part in an attack on Iran...........
