NATO Council to Visit Kosovo Today

The NATO mission in Kosovo, KFOR, has announced that the North Atlantic Council will visit Kosovo today.

The North Atlantic Council, NAC, is the decision-making body of NATO and is comprised of the 28 NATO permanent representatives under the chairmanship of the Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

NAC will meet with KFOR commander Markus Bentler; the head of the UN mission in Kosovo, Lamberto Zannier; EU rule-of-law mission head Yves De Kermabon; OSCE head Werner Almhofer; and Greek Ambassador Dimitris Moschopoulos, the EU facilitator for the protection of the religious and cultural heritage.

“The delegation will also meet Fatmir Sejdiu and Hajredin Kuqi,” the KFOR press release reads. The NAC delegation will visit Visoki Dečani Monastery and meet with His Grace Vicar Bishop Teodosije of Lipljan.
