TIRANA (Albania), June 18 (SeeNews) - The civil aviation agencies of Albania and Kosovo have signed an agreement that will see the opening of an air corridor between the two neighbouring countries, local media reported.
The agreement signed by Albcontrol and the Kosovo Air Navigation Services Agency will shorten flights between Tirana and Pristina by about 15 minutes, the ATA news agency reported on Wednesday.
The agreement was signed as part of the Balkan Aviation Normalization Meeting (BANM) project led by the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
