Prime Minister Kurti in his Opinion on signing a secret agreement, where the KSF is barred from entering the North, President Hashim Thaçi has committed serious violations of the Constitution, which, according to Kurti, are the basis for launching dismissal procedures. .

The Office of the Prime Minister announces that a completely secret agreement was signed in 2013 between former Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and former Secretary General of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

Through this agreement, Prime Minister Thaçi, on behalf of Kosovo, transferred to KFOR the absolute veto power over all future KSF missions in the north of Kosovo for an unenforceable period.

Prime Minister Kurti along with the agreement has published his opinion, which concludes that Thaci has committed serious violations of the Constitution.

“Considering the evidence available to the Office of the Prime Minister, as well as the relevant provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, there are sufficient grounds to conclude that President Thaçi, during his time as Prime Minister, committed serious violations of the Constitution and that the commission of these violations justifies the initiation of the constitutional procedure for his dismissal from the post of the President of the Republic of Kosovo ”, reads the conclusion of Kurti's opinion.
