EU executive chief Junker has met with the President of Albania Ilir Meta, where he has shown the great desire to see Albania as an EU member state. Junker stressed that Tirana should show facts about reforms with Greece and the EU to conclude the deal.
Reforms must now continue with determination with common responsibility of all institutions, EC President Jean-Claude Juncker said.
During this meeting it is learned that Juncker told Meta that he expects the country to be a stabilizer in the region. "Significant steps have been made by Albania, but reforms must continue with determination.
Progress towards the EU remains on the merits of the fast reforms that can be achieved. Joint responsibility of all institutions. I expect your country to be a stabilizer in the region, "Juncker said.
