As has become known, The Himara Community, has complained to the offices of the Delegation of the European Union in Tirana, regarding the action of the Albanian government for the demolition of the homes of citizens with Greek origin and citizenship in Himara Region.
The last 2 weeks, in the region of Himara, the Albanian public Institutions Such as the National Inspectorate for the Protection of the Territory IKMT (Construction Police), the Albanian Police and the Albanian Army are Destroying about 50 houses and Businesses Belonging to the local Residents of Himara in the village of Drymades, Gjilekates and Vuno.
According to the information given to the local Residents of Himara by the local Authorities of Himara, the destruction of their houses and Businesses is part of the project financed by the European Union and are Implemented in accordance with this project.
