Hungary's foreign minister criticized US airstrikes against ISIL for failing to effectively eliminate the terrorists.

According to Szijjarto, the US-led coalition of over 60 states, which has been conducting airstrikes in Syria against ISil militants without seeking the approval of Damascus since 2014, has not shown enough sufficiency, as ISil continues to gain additional territory in the region. Russia launched precision airstrikes on ISil positions in Syria at the request of Syrian President Bashar Assad on Wednesday.
